Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ampara

Sidhu’s home is incredible… a true escape from the hustle and bustle! My two tuk-tuks did not know how to get to the cabin and got a little lost haha, so I recommend communicating with Sidhu beforehand to get his phone number to have handy in case you need it. I also highly recommend waking up early to watch the sunrise on the deck! You can cuddle with neighborhood pets and best friends Blackie (dog) and Fiona (cat) while sipping tea and watching the local monkeys discuss the day while swinging among on the rightmost trees. This place is an absolutely dream come true!

Such a neat house with a 5 star hotel experience. The house also had a neat backyard, the bathrooms were modeled after 5 star hotels. The host also helps you with catered food (you gotta pay) and the house has an onsite care taker as well. The beds are a tad bit firmer for most people, but I slept well on them.

Absolutely loved our stay here, felt like home right away. Spent many hours chilling on the outside sofas which are very very comfy. Had everything we needed with the kitchen and big fridge-freezer. Marie was amazing, gave us great tips for elephant & croc spotting (we saw loads just cruising around in a Tuk Tuk). The garden was beautiful and peaceful with fruit trees and flowers and an outside shower to cool down. Staying here made our time in Arugam Bay a wonderful experience. Thank you!

This place is absolutely stunning, we felt so peaceful to be immersed in nature and feel very lucky we got to stay here. The team are so helpful and friendly, I had a bad headache on one of the evenings and they brought me some ginger tea which was delicious. The accommodation was clean, cosy and had everything we needed. We loved all the unique wooden furniture and waterfall shower while being so close to the natural waterfall. You can watch the birds and stars from the nets which is wonderful! Close to Ella town and the team are happy to help with a tuk tuk ride down the track. We hope to come back one day! I really struggled to write this review because there are no words to describe the hospitality we felt from Leann and Azeer. We felt at home and looked after from the moment we stepped foot on Sri Lankan soil. I feel like we have made friends for life. The whole trip felt serendipitous start-to-end. Leann has been more than generous with her time and her energy. We couldn’t be more grateful. And Azeer can make anything happen. The house is simple, but beautiful. The location is gorgeous, especially at sunset. We spent two blissful weeks here and wanted to stay longer. Not only did we fall in love with the place, we fell in love with Leann, Azeer and Bruno, who is one of the sweetest dogs I have encountered. It was a 10/10 experience start to end. I cannot recommend it enough!

Moksha’s place was beautiful, quiet, out of the city noise of main town Ella + a short TukTuk ride into town at a very reasonable price. Moksha had an on property TukTuk driver which was amazing. He extended extreme hospitality to my friend and I and even went out of his way to sort a generator when the power went out in the city. Moksha served us an incredible breakfast both days. We truly enjoyed our stay with Moksha and we hope you do too! :-)

We had a wonderful stay at Rumesh's, the place is very peaceful and relaxing with a beautiful view. This little paradise requires 15 to 20 minutes by tuk tuk because of a rugged path in which a van would have difficulty, for a 4*4 it can be done, this course is very nice anyway.
