Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Alster

The place was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the station (though couldn't hear the trains, so quiet) and the high street, with plenty restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Axel's communication was great, even messaging the day before to let us know we could check in early.

we really enjoyed our stay at Katja's house, and I would recommend it any time to others. The place was small but totally self contained and very clean, private, yet close to supermarkets and public transportation. It was cute and cosy. One is surrounded by nature and yet close to the city. Last but not least, Katja and her family were very helpful hosts. We look forward to return to Katja's house next time I visit Hamburg.

We enjoyed the space and the tranquility. Lovely detached cozy house outside the village, in a relaxing location, in the middle of forest slopes, meadows with horses and swampy area. A stately building with a soul, with history, full of literature and art - and yet very clean. Spacious bathrooms and nice showers. Contact with owner was pleasant, we were also allowed to use the washing machine although that was actually not the intention. Hamburg was very easy to reach by public transport. A few times an hour there is a train from Elmshorn to Hamburg Hbf

We felt very comfortable and there was nothing missing, the subway is quickly accessible and even at night you can get back quickly and well from Hamburg I'd love to stay again

The house and the property are wonderful . You felt right at home . When checking in, it was already perfect to find a very clean ,fresh apartment, actually almost barrier-free . After we closed the outside gate of the property, our dog was also able to explore the very nicely landscaped ,very well fenced property. Within walking distance you can reach a forest in 10 minutes , with several paths or in the other direction a country road,where there are well-developed bike/running trails. It was very nicely quiet and peaceful as we like . 5 km in one direction is Hollenstedt with Aldi Nord, Edeka, Penny, Lidl, an outdoor swimming pool and the Max Schmeling monument . Other direction, about 14 km is Tostedt with Kik, Woolworth,Tedi, Reno, Lidl, Aldi, Rewe etc .. The highways to HH or HB are about 4 km away and easy to reach. Without traffic jams, HH can be reached in about 25 minutes . Worthwhile : spice museum, additive museum, dark house, miniature wound..

Very nice and quiet place with great location right on the dike. The place was very clean. Glad to come back!

We traveled as a family and used the apartment for a quick getaway in Hamburg. It was all very nice. We felt comfortable and slept very well in the comfortable beds. The nearest bus stop is only a few minutes' walk away. The journey to Hamburg is easy to manage by public transport of the HVV. It was also nice that there was a private parking space.

Super cool and cozy apartment. Very suitable for a larger travel group. Centrally located, surrounded by a great, quiet courtyard in the middle of the Sternschanze. Many shopping opportunities, restaurants, shops are in close proximity. Very nice contact with the rental. An all-around great place to stay that we are happy to recommend.

The apartment exactly met our expectations. We liked very much that the apartment is very well connected to the public transport network. We arrived by car and were able to park right in front of the apartment. A big thank you to Frauke Hinz.

Great stay. Easy checkin and Checkout. Simone was always quick to reply to any questions we had. Really enjoyed the Blackout Shutters and quiet surroundings for a peaceful night sleep. We look forward to staying here again.

It was a nice week in Hamburg, just right for a couple, would love to come back.

Great value, peaceful neighborhood in the suburbs, close to the U-bahn station, supermarket, restaurants. Tanya was quite responsive and helpful and thoroughly explained how everything in the apartment worked.

The place had an absolutely perfect location for us with a toddler. Right in the action, short distances that also allow short breaks, yet very quiet. The apartment was very clean and everything you could ever need was there. If something is missing, the supermarket is less than 2 minutes away. We would come back. Only the shower is very cramped for normal sized people due to the sloping roof. But fine for the few days. We were really very satisfied.

This place is amazing and Marjon is a brilliant host! Beautiful house, very clean and well maintained , great location, awesome place.

There were six of us staying with Claudia for the ANTHROPOLIS Marathon. Claudia welcomed us warmly, check in very flexible and absolutely uncomplicated. We felt very comfortable in Villa Kunterbunt and found enough space. For us, the location of the property was perfect, a five-minute walk to the subway, shopping in the immediate vicinity. We will be happy to come back.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and in a fantastic location - just a short walk to the nearby train station, which made getting into the city centre super easy. Maria was always kind and helpful, and I really appreciated her warm hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in Hamburg :)
