Vacation rentals with a kayak in Alpine County

Great place our group, four singles. Hot tub was ready and felt great after skiing. Linens, beds, supplies, towels were all high quality. Perfect location between Kirkwood and Heavenly, close to restaurants in South Lake. Good owner.

The location is very convenient for ski resorts in South Lake Tahoe since it is close to the freeway. The kitchen had many more appliances and amenities compared to previous properties I've stayed at. We were able to prepare nearly all of our meals at home and had all the tools to do so! Hosts we're also very accommodating and allowed us to check in a bit earlier to fit our schedule. Will definitely try to stay here again the next time we're back in the area!

Great location, about 10min in various directions from ski, tubing, lake, restaurants, shops. House is in very good shape, everything as described. Host was great, very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed it a lot.

This is was an amazing cabin, very spacious and clean. We enjoyed all the amenities from the game room, to the hot tub and the very relaxing steam room located in the master bathroom’s shower. With just a short drive to downtown it’s a perfect spot to relax and disconnect.

Amazing Stay – Perfect for Families! I can’t recommend Katia’s place enough! Our family of four (two adults, two kids) had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is thoughtfully designed and incredibly cozy, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of skiing. The layout is ideal for two families, with plenty of space and bathrooms to ensure comfort for everyone. A bonus TV in the downstairs game room was great—kids could watch their shows while we relaxed upstairs. The Xbox with a solid game collection (we had fun playing FIFA!) was a huge hit. They also have a classical guitar in great shape, which was fun to play. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed to cook fresh meals, and there’s ample storage for coolers and bags, making organization effortless. Katia was a fantastic host—friendly, accommodating, and flexible, even allowing us to check in early when the kids needed rest. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Debbie is such a welcoming and sweet host. My boyfriend and I would absolutely stay with her again. She was so kind and accommodating with her place. We would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about staying here!

The house was super cozy and comfortable for our extended family of 9. The staff was very helpful with our delayed arrival. Kitchen had all the cookware we needed. Fireplace was well stocked with wood. We all loved the home and hope to return.

This charming cabin in picturesque Bear Valley was perfect for our summer getaway. Our family of 7 adults enjoyed swimming and paddling on both Bear Lake and Lake Alpine. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and we enjoyed games at the large table. The cabin is exactly as described with three bedrooms downstairs and three beds and the TV in the loft with ladder access. Molly is an extremely responsive host. I would definitely stay here again in the summer.

Great little cabin, perfect for a family of three. The location couldn’t have been better - walking distance to restaurants and a short drive from all the fun. Would come back!
