The mountain view is better than in the photos. I liked the combo of residential with a cabin feel. So many positives about the home, would not hesitate to recommend and would have extended because I enjoyed it so much 🙂

Amazing Cabin community right off the Blue Ridge. Super clean and tidy inside, with plenty of towels and space inside the cabin. The community space such as the fire pit looked very nice. Host is very accommodating and helpful.

Our stay at this cabin in the North Carolina mountains exceeded all expectations. It offered the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation, with plenty of outdoor activities and a comfortable, peaceful place to retreat to at the end of the day. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo retreat to reconnect with nature, this cabin is an excellent choice. I can’t wait to return! We really enjoyed the stay at Uncle Jim’s. We loved the place, it was very clean. We really enjoyed the amenities included in the kitchen and the bathroom. The throwback board games and VHS tapes felt very nostalgic. Thank you for opening up your space for others to appreciate! Really enjoyed the privacy and the scenery.

Beautiful location and the cabin was gorgeous. Love the Christmas decor and it felt like we were right at home. Lots of games and things for the children to do. They loved it.

Beautiful views for porch sitting and walking through the neighborhood. The house was spacious and clean.

Our family came together here for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful stay. The home was comfortable, clean, decorated lovely, and well stocked. It was in a beautiful setting and we spent the evenings watching deer and the sunset from the porch. Emily and Taco were gracious hosts and we appreciate everything.

The location is perfect. Matched photos and description perfectly. The listing did have one error. One of the queen beds is actually a king. The river has a wonder sandy area right in front on the house which was perfect for the kids to play in. Would definitely book again.

If you're looking for views from heaven this is the place! Its breathtaking. Spacious, quiet, and picturesque. House is nestled between neighbors and you'd never know. Wildlife and wilderness meets quaint neighborhood... but at a golf resort. Only downfall is if you dont get groceries prior to arrival,you're out of luck during winter since your on the top of the mountain. Its about 20 to 30min down either direction for them (I shopped on the way in). Things to do are also sparse at this time of year. But, that wasn't the point for our trip, it was to "disappear" for a few days. Bryan was an awesome host. He kept intouch throughout the entire process. I had to make adjustments to my initial occupancy number and cut our trip short a day due to weather related precautions. He was accommodating for each request. Couldn't have had a better host. He invited us back and also made us aware he had other properties on the same resort. All around pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!
