Vacation rentals with lake access in Alexandra Headland

Our experience was lovely and the hosts were great to deal with. Our family relaxed and enjoyed each others company. The house is wonderful - great bedrooms, air con, bathrooms, and outdoor area with all Amentities and thought behind what you need for your stay. Would recommend it to anyone. Please be mindful if bringing young children there is no fence leading to the canal. Wonderful Pool and spa with very nice clear and safe fencing. Wish we could have stayed longer.

If this place is available for your stay you need to book it! We LOVED it!! Lis and Lachlan were amazing hosts and gave us so many suggestions and local hospitality! A real proper geezer! The place was perfect for our 6 adults. Amazing views. Great kitchen. We love the dock and outside hangout area. Beds were comfy and plenty of towels. 10/10 stay!! Ice cold air conditioning which was amazing cause it was in the 90s when we visited.

Beautiful home for our family stay over Christmas. Amazing views of the water and the outdoor entertaining area was perfect. Loved hanging out by the river and kayaking.

A beautiful place! Perfect for our extended family of 11 with large open spaces and great kitchen and outdoor area to prepare meals and relax. The property was clean, easy to check into and had everything we needed. Great location by the canal, everyone loved the rides in kayaks around sunset. It was easy to visit Noosa and surroundings from the house. We would stay again!

Quiet location Very clean open plan home Beautifully large space in main bedroom incl air con was a godsend! Ample supplies in kitchen and shaded area out the back during the morning and half the afternoon. Close to everything we required! Fishing spots, boat club and loved to see an air bnb with recycling tubs and a compost barrel ( we took advantage of that to minimise landfill) I was very impressed to see no carpet throughout the property and the linen was not white! That’s something I think Gary got spot on! No white linen - I don’t like it as it may look lovely initially but find its too clinical looking in a guest home. We felt Gary and future users of air BnB property would benefit using and maintaining compost barrel and in turn keeping Gary’s herb garden well fed- All the foundations are there and what a great way to utilise an entire home and use herbs from his garden in turn providing green waste to feed them and Gary also having passive maintenance.

The team were so responsive to our messages - which was so very appreciative! The house is BEAUTIFUL! We stayed with 3 babies under 1 and we did need to very mindful of stairs/hard floors/drop offs, but nothing out of the ordinary that you aren’t used to if you have infants! House was perfectly spacious for 4 couples and 3 babies. Beautiful surrounds and so very clean and maintained when we arrived! We really appreciated the late check out offered and how quickly the team assisted us when we had an Energex power outage. Would highly recommend and we hope to be back!

Really great place - big bedrooms and lots of space to relax or entertain, well equipped with everything you need. Primary bed was firm and super comfortable. Only two things I’d suggest for improvement, the sofa is really soft and can become uncomfortable to sit on after a while, might need an upgrade. Also, there is no air con in the living room and it can get quite warm in there. An extra fan would be great or air con.

Lovely home, peaceful surroundings. Pool area is fabulous. Nice walk along the canals. Would happily stay at Janet's again when in the area. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed Bek,s place very much she was very good host ,responsive , view was 5star ,kitchen was well stuffed lots of Towels to use , would definitely stay here when we are back to Sunshine Coast.

The most AMAZING stay. Idyllic, stunning getaway in the heart of Alex Heads. The pictures don't do this place justice. I spent 2 nights here for my 30th birthday and wasn't ready to leave. A special experience which I cannot fault. Fantastic hosts - I mainly had contact with Tye who very kindly left me a phone charger to use as mine had broken. Additionally, on the last day I took the garage key home with me by accident. Tye was extremely understanding about this and I really believe Tamara, Tye & Linda cannot do enough for you and go above & beyond. Quick responses, kind, helpful & only ever one message away. Thank you for this beautiful experience. Would recommend to anyone x

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The apartment was very luxurious and modern with lovely extra touches. The view was excellent and a quick walk to have a relaxing fish. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and for answering our queries.

This appartment was everything that we could have hoped for on our family vacation. The apartment is spacious, clean, fresh and enjoys a beautifully relaxing view of the river from the balcony. The swimming pool is an added luxury. We would definitely book the apartment again!

Loved everything about our stay - beautifully styled apartment with a sneak peak into Maor’s treasured moments (the photos and artwork was a special touch). Fantastic location, walking distance to everything you need in the headlands. The view from the apartment? You can’t buy it, super special and priceless, the sunrise in particular was gorgeous. Just a stones throw away from Mooloolaba restaurants as well with a quick uber trip. Thank you Maor for opening up your home, everything was perfect

Our second stay! Our family just loves the serenity of this place. Picturesque. Cows grazing on the hills, sheep grazing nearby, an abundance of bird life. Just beautiful! 💗 Kids just loved the kayaking!! Thank you Gwenda!!! ☺️🌅💖

My family and I enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and peace and quiet. In the three days we stayed over we visited Coolum, Eumundi, Noosa, Peregian Beach and Caloundra. Everything is only minutes away, including great restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the central air conditioning very handy, especially in February. Seeing kangaroos every day was an added bonus. I can strongly recommend this place.

Our Stay at Lake Weyba Cottages was great! Ashley was helpful and her instructions were clear and the cottage was presented immaculately. Stunning surrounds and we felt at home surrounded by the lush grenery. The farm animals were a bonus along with the guest shed which had bikes and other items available to use. Will be back!
