Giske is a wonderful island, it feels a lot of history. Perfect place to walk and be at peace. The view is wonderful and when lighting the fireplace is a pleasant experience. Thank you Ellen for your hospitality.

The house as well as the landscape around it is amazing. Hilde and Tore are very helpful, they immediately provided the required support to us even on Saturday late evening. This house was the perfect choice from our side.

The house is very spacious ,well furnished and really nice..The space inside and outside have a relaxing vibe. The kitchen has all the modern equipment you need. Everything was super clean. Really recommended!

Beautiful stay, views were stunning. We felt at home,very clean. Communication was great, very friendly and quick response 👍🏻highly recommended,the only thing we were missing was the possibility to freeze something.

Lovely home, overlooking the fjord. The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood. The main town was few kms away. I highly recommend this house.

I should have booked for a much longer stay. We REALLY LIKED this place.

Beautiful apartment in a historical building. It was close to everything which we loved. It was easy to leave and walk a couple of minutes to a cafe or a restaurant. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked.

Cozy and spacious apartment. Very fast communication. Nice view, quiet and great location for walking in the city center as well as on top of Aksla, bus stop right next to the house, and parking a car was easy when we asked for help. :)

Great house in Ålesund!

This is a special place! Best of everything Norway has to offer. Quaint island community, a perfect peaceful getaway with easy and scenic drives to Alesund (15mins) or day trips to Loen, Stryn, and Geiranger. Traveled with another family and all had our own spaces, with beautiful accommodations, well appointed & extremely clean. The neighbor kids immediately greeted our two children and fast friends were made. We would sit outside on the deck or pier and listen to sounds of kids laughing and having fun everywhere, pulling fish, snails or crabs out of the water over & over again or playing at the local playground. Not to mention the hospitality of the neighbors (homemade strawberry jam, an evening fishing trip, and some local crab claw snacks). And hiking….. the most spectacular views hiking to Storhornet and back down the ridge to the island school. Meanwhile, the adults enjoyed the endless views from nearly every spot outside or inside the house. Core memories made!

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!
