The Yurt at Frog Pond Farm

Our yurt (30' dia.) is rustic, beautiful, quiet, in deep woods with deck overlooking pond. Great for couples, small families (not childproof). Includes hot tub & Poetry Walk. Beds are futons. It's warm June-Aug. (no A/C, plenty fans), but way cooler than the city. It's cold Nov.-March (wood stove heat). Mini-fridge & microwave (no kitchen/plumbing). Parking and the bath-house are 2-min. walks (toilet, sink, shower). Two minutes to Saxapahaw. Read description for more info. NO PARTIES. No dogs.

The Dolly is a tiny house nestled in our Alamance County farm's wooded area. Just 15 minutes from the bustling village of Saxapahaw, the Dolly offers a bit of everything. Romp our woods, cuddle goats and donkeys, cast a fishing line or warm by a fire pit. Adventurers can bike Snow Camp's rural roads or drop kayaks in nearby Haw River. A wood burning stove keeps the Dolly cozy during winter stays; the cedar insulated walls (and AC) keep the house cool in the summer. Unplug and unwind with us.

Very close to Elon University, restaurants and shopping. Have had many Elon student's parents stay here for various activities. Many come back until son or daughter graduates. It's just a comfortable, clean home for relaxing from your day's activities. Garage is also available, so if storage is needed, you have that access as well.

Afika’s Beacon House is an art treasure on Lake Cammack. The location is perfectly situated between town and country here in the heart of North Carolina Piedmont. While still under some renovation during our stay, the house was warm and comfortable. All the amenities were complete, and what’s more, our host went out of his way to ensure that we felt welcome and were made comfortable the whole time. Be warned that one ought to be cautious of the wetland landscape alongside the lake, especially off-season. Visitors should bring and use proper footwear while hiking on lakeside city property nearby.

5th wheel camper was perfect for what we needed as a group of 4 gals on a quick concert trip to Raleigh. Just under an hour drive to downtown Raleigh so location was great for our needs. Camper was very roomy and spotlessly clean! Terrific floor plan. Nadine was responsive and had clear info and instructions from start to finish…even offered us much later checkout than was listed if we had needed that. Would highly recommend.

This is an exceptional find in Graham, NC. You may be able to find another place to lodge but you wont be able to find Mr. Prince nor Miss Rebecca and their home cooked meals. The hospitality I was shown was incredible. To the travel nurses or anyone else who work 12 hour shifts numerous days in the week - this is where you want to be. The bed I slept in was very comfortable, the house is quiet, and the tv is preset to binge your favorite show on those days where relaxation is much required.

A relaxing and enlightening stay in North Carolina with two most gracious and hospitable hosts! Clean, comfortable, and inviting guest rooms. Quiet beautiful setting with the added bonus of the background music of clucking hens and a most natural environment and feeling of 'home.' We had our nine-year-old daughter with us. This painfully shy youngster was soon talking to our host as if she'd known her for years! Delightful stay in all regards. We give our stay 6 out of 5 stars.
