This place is absolutely gorgeous! It really captures the beauty and magic of Luxor. On top of the accommodations the host fed us the best food we’ve had in Egypt. Ahmed is super friendly and very accommodating and even ran to the store to pick up cold medicine when I told him I wasn’t feeling well. The host really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A lovely oasis on Luxor’s West Bank, quiet and simply furnished place but with everything you need and very thoughtfully laid out. A large and very clean bathroom and two comfortable bedrooms. The garden is beautiful and the pool a treat. Valérie was a lovely host, helping us with airport transfer and trips and answered any questions promptly. The housekeeper Hagag is very helpful and can get breakfast for your stay, daily. We highly recommend this stay! To eat we liked Farmers Cafe a few minutes walk from the house by the Nile. We also enjoyed eating a delicious lunch at Marsam Hotel near Valley of Kings. Amazing and restful stay.

What an amazing place! The villa is just beautiful - impeccably decorated and squeaky clean. The views from the top terrace of the sunrise and sunset were amazing and the pool was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights with our 3 boys aged 18, 16 and 11 - our 11 year old is autistic and so there was some worry about how he would would cope, however all the people were absolutely amazing and made our stay so easy. We had an itinerary arranged for trips out and were collected each day from the front door and driven to wherever we were going. On occasion we needed to change the plan but it was absolutely no issue and we were accommodated with ease. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful place to anyone.

We enjoyed our one night at Full Moon House. Mostafa was very responsive with all communication and his nephew Mohamed checked us in and looked after us. The view from the balcony across the Nile was wonderful and we watched the hot air balloons at dawn from the rooftop. There are basic food places all around and the ferry to the East bank an easy walk. Cleanliness and maintenance lacked a little bit but the beds were clean and comfortable. The price was good and I would stay again.

It was our first visit to Egypt and Luxor. The goal was to see the most interesting historical places. The hosts Hannah and Ahmed are one of the best on airbnb. They helped us with all what we needed. They organized for us transfers to Cairo, Abu-Symbel (with time to rewieving the temples between Luxor and Aswan) , Abydos and Dendera. Also they organized for us baloon trip. The prices were good. In addition Ahmed helped us with movement within Luxor during our trip. The house was very comfortable with great roof view and small cozy yard. Also hosts provided drinking water and fruits for us. The hosts are always еready to help. Stronghly recommended for staying if you want to receive the comfortable home and responsive hosts.

Saleh has a beautiful accommodation that he is rightly proud of. The views from our apartment were right over the Nile towards Luxor temple. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the sheets feel like Egyptian cotton. We walked almost every meal to Thebes Restaurant which had great food and was very very affordable. We saw other friend’s accomodation in the area for a similar cost and ours was definitely better. Do yourself a favour and book your accomodation with Saleh. (We are travelling full time so get to see a lot of accomodation around Egypt and the world. I’ll often give one to three star reviews if I think the accomodation deserves it. Saleh is definitely five stars)

We are sad we could only stay one night, it was very peaceful, surrounded by green. The house has everything you may need, there's a garden outside where you can sit and a balcony to see outside. Daniel and his wife were very welcoming, he gave us a lot of tips for the remaining part of the trip. We arranged with him a very good tour to the Luxor and Karnak temples that ended up with a boat across the Nile and a tuktuk that brought us to their house. Recommended for a very peaceful stay.

The apartment is cozy, spacious, equipped with all amenities with a super market available just outside which is open till midnight. Khaled is a great host and also a highly recommended tour-guide.

Obama’s place is very comfortable and well located. The host is super helpful and attentive, helped us with everything. Would definitely recommend this place!

My sister and I had an amazing time in Luxor. The stay was gorgeous but what especially stood out was the tour guides. Mohamed and Ta ensured we had an amazing time and an authentic experience. They were the sweetest people! Couldn’t recommend them more!!

We had an unforgettable stay at this Luxor home. The house captivated us from the first moment, with a perfect location to explore the temples and tombs of the pharaohs, but also the rural life, so genuine on the west bank of the Nile River. The house is spacious, very cared for with all the utilities you may need. Its patio, with cozy sofas, trees, plants and the sound of the birds was our favorite corner to relax after a long day, enjoy the sun with a drink or plan the next day's visits. A plus is having a nearby restaurant that offers delicious Egyptian food at a good price, just ten meters away. Definitely a stay to remember. The host and staff are always available for any needs.

This is a nice place to live in. The AC might not working very well on the second floor during summer season. The host was kind enough to arrange me to the first floor. The host friendly and warm hearted. The views from room were beautiful. Overall, I recommend people to stay here. One thing I need to address is about the home meal. I had a dinner from the host on the roof top. Taste, service and food is all good. Personally, I don’t share the same idea on the price. 600 Egypt Pounds is a little expensive. I can share the following price, a bowl of noodles in a Chinese restaurant nearby, 180 pounds. Two burgers in McDonald in the city center close to Luxor temple, 330 pounds.

Everything was as described. A comfy bed, scented linens. You can have a nice time by the pool.

Mohamed was super helpful from the beginning, feels like home, super quiet place, you can use the washing machine (which we used once), big fridge, big bed, an outdoor pool… if you need something don’t hesitate to ask him, he gave us good recommendations for restaurant near by, places to visit and tours/experience you can book with him as well. In our stay the kettle stopped working but he replaced it immediately, the tv remote didn’t work we think it was the batteries but didn’t have time to use it more. I recommend staying here.

Ramadan was home to welcome us. He is a polite person. The apartment was huge and Room was clean. A good choice in Luxor. The host also offered private car and guide.

Badawi promptly responded to my advance questions re: the best time to arrive, how I can go to his listing to check in, how he can show me where to go for shopping and food, how I can have my things sent to me, how my rental is private, how he will let the employees know not to bother me, and anything else I needed such as the wonderful free breakfast, WiFi, etc. When my plane landed, I texted Badawi as we discussed prior to my arrival, and he gave me clear directions on how to take the taxi to the ferry with the few things I had brought on the plane, then met me at the ferry dock, carried my things to his car, and chauffeured me the rest of the beautiful way to the rental. The place was better than expected. Rarely have I felt so at home!! He had a working refrigerator with some welcome fruit in it, showed me how to open the balcony doors for air or just sunshine, and then let me stay in peace unless I needed anything, at which time he responded very well and professionally.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Elaine's, so much so, that on my next visit, I will definitely stay there again. The spacious 2 bedroom apartment has so much charm and character. It is a beautiful vacation oasis, much lovelier than a hotel. She and her husband are both quite friendly and helpful. If you like, you can also hire her husband as a taxi to collect you from the train station and to show you around. He is very nice and professional. Even the inner pool courtyard is a lovely area to tan, swim, and have fun. Overall, I highly recommend this location. See you next time.

This guest house is on the west bank side of Luxor. It is the same premises as the owner's home. We stayed on the first floor, but there were several rooms on the second floor, and the garden, rooftop, washing machine, etc. were shared. The room was overall clean. The shower has hot water. The kitchen is easy to use and has a washing machine, so I recommend it for long-term stays. The water and fruit service was also helpful. We offer transfers, balloons, Faluca, tours to various places, and family restaurants and cafes, so it's easy for those who want to enjoy themselves. We rented bicycles and enjoyed getting around the tourist attractions on the west side. Thank you very much.
