Castle vacation rentals in Ain

We found it a special experience to stay at this beautiful castle with a pool. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for the warm hospitality.

We were welcomed by Gabrielle who is so sweet, kind and kind. We were lucky enough to learn during a short visit, the history of the castle, it was exciting. A timeless place, feeling away from the hustle and bustle of the city while being in the heart of Lyon. To discover!

Château Lapeyrouse is located in a beautiful and quiet area close to Lac du Bourget. The castle itself is divided in several appartments on the ground floor and upper floors. We stayed in one of the appartments on the ground floor (with bathroom and 1 sleeping room) on the 1st floor) Beautiful decorated, kept in original style, and a very spatious living room and garden room. The rooms kept very cool, even when temperatures rose well above 30 degrees. The surrounding terrain was excellent, the garden great to sit for dining, the views from the castle over the valley and mountains was magnificent. Not to forget the nice pool to cool off on a hot day. We had great service during reception and afterwards, from the caretaker of the castle. Conclusion: well worth a stay, you’ll feel like a lord of your own castle!

The castle is fantastic, the large living room is very spacious, the place is unique. The pool is great!

Such an amazing experience!! The hosts were very friendly, the room was quirky and very tidy/clean, the grounds were gorgeous and the dogs welcomed us warmly on arrival. Highly recommend having dinner at the restaurant as the food was delicious and made our stay!

We stayed one night in the room with the central bathtub. We are absolutely delighted with our stay, the place is beautiful and very well maintained, the pool is pleasant. Impeccable room, and already air-conditioned when we arrived. Clement welcomed us, you can go there without a second thought!

The chateau and its property were even cooler than we imagined — I only wish we had stayed for more days to enjoy it all. Kim is an excellent host and even made a reservation for us at a nearby Lyon-style restaurant that really made our day! Staying in the castle tower was a highlight of our trip!

A tranquil place, beautifully and generously hosted. It was an oasis for us on a very long journey. We will remember it for a long time.

Muriel's place was perfect for my fantasy about the castle, the dinner in the castle was delicious and the service was good.The breakfast was very generous and the staff were very welcoming.It's a pity that I only stayed for one night, and I'll have to stay a few more nights next time I get the chance!
