Our family loved our weekend away at Kathy’s - she’s an amazing host! Always quick to respond when and if we needed her. She even left us baked goodies and snacks for check-in which was so thoughtful of her. The entire place was beautiful and clean.

We loved staying at Sandy Bottoms, the house is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped for a family. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the lake, rods and life jackets were provided (thanks!). The area is peaceful and beautiful and we enjoyed watching the squirrels and chipmunks! Cindy was very helpful. We recommend the disc golf at Tom Thomson park at South River! They have discs that you can borrow at the car park.

This the second year in a row our group has spent an amazing weekend here. It’s such a comfortable and inviting space to unwind, share meals and connect around the fire pit. Couldn’t recommend it enough. We had an incredible time - can’t wait to return.

My group of six adults and one child had an incredible stay. The cottage is beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. The layout for three families was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The cottage was very well appointed with everything from a projector screen to a high end coffee maker. We couldn't think of any amenity the home was lacking. The lake was very quiet. We appreciated the beach area for the four year old that was travelling with us. We also made use of the paddle boats, SUP, kayaks and canoe. Davinia was very easy to communicate with. We would definitely rent this cottage again in the future.

Angela was a very nice woman, she responded very quickly if i had any questions. The cottage was beautiful and very comfortable and cozy. Love her decor. Very highly recommended.

Perfect peaceful cottage on the lake. So many beds available but the spaces don’t feel crowded even with many people in the house. Cozy and truly authentic cottage feel. My son felt like the bunkie was his own piece of heaven. We appreciated the outdoor amenities such as kayaks and canoe. Even on the crisp late October days we visited we enjoyed the lake, and the wood stove kept us snug in the evening. Nathan was incredibly responsive and helpful. Just a wonderful visit overall.

Our recent stay at this cottage was incredible. It had everything we needed, from indoor activities to outdoor fun, even in the cold. The karaoke machine, the hot tub with stunning water views and string lights, and the cozy fire pit nearby were the highlights of our trip. The cottage’s location is fantastic, with a ski resort and slopes just a short drive away. The host’s recommendation to visit Santa’s Village in Bracebridge was spot on—we loved it! The cottage itself is very spacious, offering plenty of room for our group of eight to relax and feel at home. We’re already planning to return when there’s more snow to enjoy winter activities. This place exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for the perfect winter escape, this is it!

We had a good weekend at Michaels place! Only 10 mins to downtown huntsville for restaurants and outings. Loved the views specially since we had rainy weather and we still enjoyed it from inside.

Excellent place! We had a great stay. Looks exactly like the pictures. Extremely friendly and responsive hosts…. This is exactly the place you need to go if you need to unplug and unwind! Our little puppy loved it too
