VILLA A MARE

Villa A Mare is in one of the most beautiful locations of Paros named Lageri, with respect to the Cycladic architecture and Greek tradition, we created Villa Mare, overlooking the blue Aegean and northern peninsula of Paros. Villa A Mare is located at an enclosed 8-acre private property by the sea, along a calm, private sandy beach. Within the land of palm trees, they share a private-parking area, a basketball court, a sun-bathing space with sunbeds, an external shower (for after beach usage), two traditional water wells and a path leading directly to the sea. The front house is 220 sq.m.; Approaching the house from the front, to its left side is a porch (with a doorway to the kitchen) which features a marble dinner table and chairs, covered by a pergola of bougainvillea flowers and a rustic barbeque place. The back part of the house (viewing the sea) includes a dinning space with a large marble table and lounge space with two large sofas. Entering the ground floor, which is a total of 180 sq.m, you find a spacious room which features the large living room and its fire-place lounge (includes a hi-fi, satellite TV & DVD player), the dinning room with its large rustic dinning table and the kitchen with its electric appliances. Further in, you end up in a specious bedroom with queen-sized beds, satellite TV, air conditiong, a closet and storage spaces. There is a separate storage room next to the bedroom and the ground floor's bathroom, which includes a toilet, a shower and a sink. The 1st floor is 40 sq.m and features a master bedroom (including air conditioning, a closet and storage spaces) with large balconies and a wide breathtaking sea-view. Next to it is the bathroom, which includes a bathtub and a toilet. The second house is divided into two separate, autonomous apartments. The base-floor apartment is 85 sq.m. and features a large room with a kitchen (including electrical-appliances such as refrigerator, cooking stoves, coffee and tea making facilities), a spacious living-room with smart TV,a double sofa-bed and two traditionally inbuilt couches with the added possibility of being transformed into two single-beds. A glassed doorway leads to its front porch, which features a seating place with sea-view. Continuing further into the house, there is a bathroom which includes a shower, a sink and a toilet. Next to it is the bedroom, which features two queen-size beds, storage-spaces and a satellite TV. The upper-floor apartment is 55 sq.m.; It features a kitchen (which includes two refrigerators, cooking stoves, coffee and tea making facilities) and a lounge with a traditionally inbuilt couch which can be transformed into a single bed. Further in is the bedroom, which features a king size bed, a smart TV, a hi-fi and storage spaces. The balcony door leads to its spacious balcony lounge, which enjoys a rich sea view. Next to the bedroom is the bathroom, which includes a shower, a water sink and a toilet.

Beautiful Apartment with endless sea view

The balcony overlooking the sea and views to Naxos is stunning. The location is amazing, saunter down to the excellent beaches and restaurants. There is also a secluded swimming beach by the Church which is gorgeous. The kitchen is a bit dark and dingy and not a great place if the weather doesn't allow you to live outside on the balcony. Only kitchen chairs to sit on rather than chairs to relax in (there is space for these). The crockery and cutlery needed re-washing which was disappointing, but a minor issue. The storage space in the bedroom is completely inadequate, we had to use the kitchen table as otherwise would have had to live out of our suitcase. There's enough space to install more cupboard or hanging space but just not provided. Μιχαήλ’s was really nice and very responsive..however his time-keeping is fairly loose! We had an issue with the toilet flush which he quickly fixed

This was a perfect location for relaxing on the beach or walking to get drinks or to dinner. Cici was a fantastic host. She was enthusiastic, at check in and answered all our questions. She even found us specialty foods for our dietary needs. She helped us rent a car. Cici made us feel welcome, like family. Thank you for an amazing restorative adventure.

Maria has done everything she can to make her guests feel good. Very nice house apartment - clean decor - quiet place - perfect bedding - privileged place with large pool and almost private beach. Two cheap restaurants nearby - one at 50m/ the other 200m away and in front of the sea. Possibility to rent scooters to visit the island - Maria can have them delivered from Naoussa - not expensive at all. Very nice hikes to do (backpacker's guide) - Address highly recommended. A very big thank you to Maria for her excellent hosting. Annie

We are very happy with our stay. Both the apartment and the hosts were fantastic. I was staying together with my teenage son and unlike other people before us chose not to rent a car or bike. I just wanted to enjoy a clam and serene stay near the sea. And although we later figured out how to go everywhere by bus and to some places by feet, everybody was there to help. Rama brought us to the supermarket on the first day basically and later the host’s mother Stella was always there to help, each time she went to the town or nearby village she offered us a lift. Stella is a fantastic person she took care of us even when we didn’t ask for this - from very tasty homemade food to a valuable advice - she was always around! We had all we could only think of thanks to her. We would really love to come again. And we will recommend the place to our friends and relatives!

Let's start with Christos, our host. I can't say enough good things about him. He's a gem -- warm, welcoming, funny, conscientious, a great communicator, and genuinely interested in making sure his guests are happy and comfortable. It seems like he knows almost everyone on the island of Naxos, and he's a terrific source of information about things to do and places to visit. Now for the house. What a house! The location, design, and amenities are all wonderful. The pictures in the listing don't do justice to the incredible view across the water to Paros. It's very quiet and peaceful, but the shops, restaurants, and other attractions of Naxos Town are only a ten-minute drive away. We slept amazingly well there, breathing the sea air. It was perfect for our family of four -- two adults plus two kids (9 and 13).
