Another lovely stay at the Buena Vista Bungalow (BVB)! We were so happy to be back -- we visited with our Wake Forest student :); hosted a small group of his friends for dinner one evening; toured the lovely and very close Reynolda Museum and grounds as well as Graylin; popped into the new Bobby Boy Bakery location in the WS Bottleworks Bldg (very cool!); and hosted our family Easter brunch, among other activities. BVB is a perfect location with plenty of space to relax, cook, be together as a family, etc. -- we always feel right at home. ...and the decor is so lovely! We will be back. :) Thank you, Lori Lynn!

We enjoyed our stay so much! We love the house! The surroundings are beautiful. We even caught some fish in December. Most of our time was spent purely relaxing, and this was a perfect place for that.

Heaven Hill lives up to its name. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a couple of days. It has everything you could need for a get away. The house is cute and clean. My mom loved the view of the water and a comfortable place to sit and read a book. My daughter loved the TV in her bedroom and the comfy bedding. And my son enjoyed having a man cave (downstairs) to himself and being able to sit on the dock. We played trivia in the living room, made waffles at the breakfast bar, and played cards at night on the downstairs porch. When I accidentally locked us out of the house, our hosts were quick to respond and help us get back in. Their responsiveness saved our one day in town to go antique shopping and to get some great burgers. The only concern we had for our stay is the steep incline of the driveway/stairs. We parked on the main road and had to lug everything down to the house. My mom is 78 and that was a bit much for her. Other than the driveway, it was a perfect 10.

Once you get past the dingy carpeted stairs up to the apartment and open the door - the place is great. Great decor and amenities in a historic and quaint setting. The traffic can be a bit loud at times due to the antique windows. But I get it with historical tax credits et al. Convenient location with good parking and lots of stuff close by.

This location was more than expected, quaint and beautiful with such an organic fresh feel. Probably the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at!

The home was clean and well appointed. Beautiful yard and front and back porch is great for morning coffee. Safe neighborhood and close to Main Street in Jamestown with shopping and dining . Host was Wonderful! We will be staying again soon !

We hosted out of town guests for our daughter’s wedding - they all said this was an amazing place. Lots of room, clean, convenient.

The perfect location, friendly communication from the host, and a modern kitchen with appliances and cookware that made preparing home cooked meals enjoyable. Overall, we had a peaceful stay.
