Lake Placid Area, Dukes Cabin-Dog Friendly!

Located between Lake Placid and Saranac lake, with Scarface Mountain only 200 yards away. Two bedroom cabin (King and Queen) with a large fenced back yard with a fire pit. This house is dog friendly with two large doggie doors to back yard. We do have an additional $75 cleaning fee for up to two dogs. Lots of parking and additional parking for trailers. A pontoon boat for rent. Nice back yard lounge area and a BBQ for grilling. The house is located on a main road there will be some road noise.

The cabin was perfect for a friends trip we took to Saratoga. The Hudson River is just a few steps away and was the perfect sight to wake to every morning of our stay. Both beds were big enough for two people. There was an unfolding futon in the common area. Had all of the basics you’d need to be comfortable!

Had an amazing time at this adorable cabin! We happened to be visiting during a winter storm which made the cabin even more charming. Jackie was wonderful and offered for us to change the reservation due to the storm but we decided to go ahead as planned and had a great time. The place was so clean, cozy and the views were amazing! Highly recommend!

This place was great. Secluded, peaceful, beautiful. If you are looking to get away where it is quiet and scenic, this is the place. The road to the cabin is a great walk too. I walked the dog nearly every day along the road for a couple of miles. You cannot go wrong staying here.

We had such a nice stay at Creekside Cabin! The home is lovely, clean and cozy. They thought of everything to make their guests feel more at home and it was hard to say goodbye. Riverfront Cabin in Adirondacks

This small cabin has a perfect location in the Adirondacks, properly placed between Keene Valley and Keene. The cabin has great access to local hiking, the lakes/ponds, and especially located in the epicenter for the premier ice climbing destinations. I stayed for a week for ice climbing and skiing and it worked out really well. The dark skies at night is a bonus and there's no other houses close-by. The creek was frozen the entire week until the last day of my stay, it wasn't until then that I saw how pretty the boulders were in the creek. I'm assuming this is a nice place to be in the summer as well, especially with the creek right out the back door. I hope to rent this place again for a winter vacation and hopefully for summer rock climbing in the Dacks someday. The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen is small but perfectly setup, and the shower was modern and nice. I'm so impressed the with area mountains and am so happy that I chose this cabin that's in the perfect location.

Very cozy and comfortable cabin in the beautiful Adirondacks. Right near gore mountain. One of my kids skied at gore while the others played on the sledding hill by the cabin. We loved making a fire at night in the fireplace. It was very peaceful. The owners were in the big lodge next door so we didn’t feel too isolated when we needed to ask a question. We want to stay again in the warm weather too.
