Vacation rentals with lake access in Acton

Daniel was a great host, very responsive. The house was so beautiful with a great view of the lake from backyard and balcony. Very spacious and homey. Myself and family loved the place, it’s about a 20 min drive to the city which we were travelling everyday so if you don’t mind the drive and have a big family I’d recommend this place.

Great visit and wonderful home in a pleasant and safe neighbourhood!. Would highly recommend!!

Stayed here during Summernats and couldn’t have asked for a better airbnb. The location is great, within walking distance to the main shipping centre and also to the Main Street where Summernats car meets was being held. The house is close to the show ground and is a short walk/drive to plenty of great cafes and restaurants. The house itself is great, easy to get the key, very clean, great a/c and has a at home feeling. The garage is a massive bonus and is big itself. Would stay here again 10/10.

Beautiful house with complete amenities in a peaceful, walkable area

Brian is very friendly and responds within minutes. The place is a nice neighbourhood, and the condition is as advertised on the photos. Place was easy to access and clean. We would stay again!

Julia’s place is in a lovely quiet location. It’s so leafy green and very convenient to drive to many of Canberra’s attractions. We appreciated the large living area, 3 bedrooms, and two bathrooms as a family of 6. We have a crawling baby, so we did have to be mindful of the stairs that split the two living areas. Julia was very communicative and responsive to all messages.

Daniel went above and beyond to check us in a bit earlier and and very patiently walked us through the entry instructions when the app didn’t work for me. He also didn’t hesitate to drop by after dinner when we requested something extra. The apartment was decorated with quirky gorgeous artifacts and had some very interesting books. Bed was comfortable, linen nice, kitchen amenities were great, nice balcony, great view over bushland. The hotel bar lobby is fantastic and great to have downstairs. It’s an easy walk into town. Thoroughly recommend this apartment and this host!

We had a lovely stay! The place felt like our own home for the weekend. Had everything we needed.

We had a fantastic stay at Alex’s place. The location was great as it was only a 25-30 minute walk away from Old Parliament and the many museums of Canberra. It was also 10 minutes away from the shopping centre. Alex’s place was cosy and had a homey feel to it, you can tell there has been great care and detail put into it. The projector was also a very cool feature! The place had everything we needed and an extra bonus of an on site fitness suite. Alex was extremely helpful and quick to respond and allowed us to store our luggage after check out which was a great help. We would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you again Alex for all your help!

Great place. The outside appearance isn’t going to win any awards for design - being an older building. But the inside is beautifully renovated and the kitchen well appointed. I made a full roast dinner for wife and adult kid, all easy with the kitchen and lounge. The absence of enough space for a dining table was noted - but that’s minor compared to other rooms in CBR we have stayed in.

Paul was the best host, great communication, helpful and flexible to our needs. The apartment was immaculate and in a great location, quiet, with water views and minutes from great facilities. Secure underground car parking was an added bonus. Highly recommend the apartment and the host.

Doug is super friendly and helpful. The unit itself is so clean and spotless (what I expect from holiday homes) and located in walking distance of Westfield, restaurants, cafes and club which was so convenient. I highly recommend this place for your next holiday home as every dollar you spend on here is totally worth it.
