Breathtaking views of Curran mountains.There is a small town called Achill Sound approx 4km away,where there is shops, cafe, supermarkets, 2 pubs, 2 hotels and bike hire. There are other great places to eat approx 12-15km away. Our Cottage is close to the greenway where you can walk or cycle. There is fantastic views along the Atlantic drive from. Clough more to Dooega, where you can see the Atlantic ocean for miles.

This is a lovely old style cottage attached to an Authentic local Irish Pub. It is self contained with front and rear entrances and parking. There are two open fireplaces. A great choice for a large family group, a group of friends, or a couple. Knock Ireland West International Airport is approx 30 mins away. There are woods, lakes and amazing beaches very close by. Ballina Town is only 8km away. Combine your stay with the perfect pint of Guinness and a chat with the locals, next door!

This is an exceptional property. Florence's House is a period house that has been wonderfully restored to its former glory with original sash windows with shutters and ceiling coving. The entire south facing rear of the living /kitchen area is glass (a la Room to Improve) and looks out onto a very stunning stone clad rear yard. One of the former bedrooms upstairs has been turned into a large bathroom with separate shower unit. The attic has been converted to replace the 2nd bedroom.

My family and I had a fantastic stay in Noel’s house. Absolutely beautiful scenery. House was so clean and had all necessary amenities. Lovely beds and fresh sheets/ towels etc. Very responsive host. Nothing was an issue. The kids even got to see some newborn lambs! Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting Mayo. 10/10

Paula is everything that’s good about AirBnB. We are heavy users of the platform and we all know ‘company’ run places have started to take over. Providing the minimum experience, well Paula’s place is the absolute opposite!! She’s created such a beautiful place with little touches of care to make sure stay that little bit better all over. Before we arrived Paula provided a ton of recommendations for us to check out in the area, the little touches of a bottle of wine, with local bread and butter waiting for us were extra special. The views from Paula’s place are absolutely beautiful. I can’t recommend this place enough!!! Thanks again Paula for everything.

Beautiful nicely decorated cozy chalet with a lot of amenities to keep you comfortable. Mary Anne and Peadar were lovely hosts who also made sure that we had a beautifully lit christmas tree and decorations for the festive season and made sure we stayed well stocked up with wood pellets for the stove fire to keep warm for the cold winter nights. Thank you for the perfect stay.

Rossport Cottage was even better than the description and the photos. The cottage was very comfortable and well- equipped, and the views were amazing! Sheila, Kieran, and Teresa were very responsive when there was a minor plumbing issue, and it was quickly resolved. We were very lucky with the weather, which made our week at Rossport all the more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at Helen’s mountain cottage! The setting is breathtaking and so close to nature. Birdsong, pheasant squawks, sheep bleating and an ever-changing sky. The views are amazing. The cottage is charming and welcoming, a perfect place to enjoy peaceful privacy and beautiful walks. Helen was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We didn’t meet Jurgen, but he graciously left us beautiful firewood for the stove. He built the gorgeous sauna, which fits perfectly with the rustic experience. We had some great weather, so we loved having a fire outside as we gazed at the lake, sky and landscape. The cottage is not luxurious, but we loved it and the peaceful surroundings. Heidi the happy dog was a sweet addition to our stay. You will be so glad you booked this magical place! Thank you, Helen and Jurgen!

Maire was the perfect host. The accommodation is perfect & just as described. There was a storm whilst we were there which resulted in the loss of power. Maire brought flasks of hot water so we could make hot drinks. I would highly recommend this accommodation

Perfect for a small group of us for a weekend getaway. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings with lots to explore and only a short drive from restaurants/ cafes etc. we also really enjoyed the warmth of the log burner and visits from friendly cats. We’ll be back in the summer!
