The Gardeners Cottage is set within the walled gardens of Corvisel House, built by Rear Admiral John McKerlie in 1829. We have restored the cottage in a vintage, quirky style with Donegal & Harris tweed soft furnishings & floral accents to reflect the glorious garden outside! It's located at the edge of Newton Stewart so very handy for evening strolls to the eateries in town. You can take walks in our small forest from the courtyard & hang out in the walled garden - green fingers are welcomed!!

Ivy Bank Studio, run by Mary & Jonathan, is an attached studio room of Ivy Cottage. It is independent from the main Cottage. Which itself was built in 1795 from local stone. It is situated on a private no through road, located directly in front of the Gem Rock museum and cafe. The location of the studio room in Creetown offers excellent outdoor views across to Cairnsmore Hill & Wigtown Bay. Creetown itself is a welcoming tourist village ideal for those wishing to explore Dumfries & Galloway.

We have a quirky vestry, suitable for 2 adults or small family, attached to a converted church on Whiting Bay seafront. The Vestry has recently been converted to a high standard. It has a super kingsize bed plus a sofa bed in the living room/kitchen area. TV, cooker, fridge, kettle and toaster. Shower room/toilet. Dumfries and Galloway dark skies park is a stunning location to get away from it all on our eco friendly off grid small holding. The yurt is solar powered with 12vt lights and has a wood burning stove, shower room and composting toilet. The yurt has a double bed and three singles (all with down duvets) so sleeps 4 x1 or 1x2 and 3x1 we don't charge a cleaning fee, so what you see is what you pay!! A two bedroom, two hundred year old cottage, Tide View is situated centrally in Scotland's book town, Wigtown.
