It has its own private entrance and private off street parking. A brightly lit staircase decorated with French posters, takes you directly up to a large oversized space which includes a vaulted ceiling and old heart pine flooring, along with 2 large sunlit dormer windows overlooking a French formal garden. The Oake Room includes a comfortable couch with a large end table to use as a desk, 1 double bed, 1 single bed, and an upright piano for those who play! The bathroom has a shower, 1 sink, and toilet. The guesthouse includes a small dorm size refrigerator and a microwave. If you are exploring Mississippi and her literary fame, I have many Mississippi authors on my bookshelves, with Eudora Welty’s home within easy walking distance! My location is easily accessible to downtown Jackson with its antebellum Old Capitol and MS Governor’s Mansion , along with the New Capitol. Whether you are visiting Jackson for the IBC or the MS Opera downtown , or you are here to visit the UMMC or Belhaven’s New Stage Theater, my location cannot be better-just a few minutes’ drive away! 3 excellent restaurants including Lou’s, the Manship, and the Fairview are all within 2 miles. The 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin has an open floor plan in the den and kitchen, a queen size bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom, with a roll-away daybed available. A pack n play is available upon request. The bathroom is handicapped accessible. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, full size refrigerator and microwave. There is no dishwasher. There is a flat screen tv in both the den and the master bedroom with Directv. We have WIFI available.

Cozy house right in the middle of it all! It’s a duplex so there is a possibility there will be guests in the back but you will never see them! Very private!. It’s a great space with plenty of room! Big den and great bedrooms . Full size kitchen! Front porch living, 2 BD, comfy couch. Close to bars, coffee shops, restaurants . Dining room. Cable and Internet. A true home! Best area in Jackson! An enchanted place! Ck out my "eclectic" cottage if this is taken!
