The beautiful accommodation of Paul Jud is combined with an older farm, which is rather remote and surrounded by woods and meadows with a view of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area you can enjoy the peace and quiet, as a leisure time there are many attractions and sports facilities, such as hiking in the mountains of Amden or on the spear (King of the Pre-Alps). When the weather is nice, you can enjoy a fantastic view up to Lake Constance. The studio is wheelchair accessible and step-free.

Cities such as Zurich, St. Gallen & Lucerne can be reached in about 1 hour by car. The great chocolate factory inspires young and old. You are very welcome.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

With us you are on the sunny side!

The holiday apartment is located below the village of Amden. The peasant family also lives in the same house. During the hay harvest or other work, there may therefore be some noise (milking machine, hay ventilation) or there are odor emissions (slurry). But we do our best and take this into account as far as possible. We have cats, dogs and chickens, the goats and cows are from June-September on Alp. We sell organic milk and eggs. Dogs are allowed, just book with us, costs 30 Fr.

We are renting a very nice, newly furnished and cozy 30m2 apartment with separate bedroom. In the open living room with kitchen and dining area, there is a large sofa bed. The apartment has a separate apartment entrance and is located on the ground floor (no steps), the free parking is right next to the apartment. The apartment is in the middle of the village and is easy to find. Only three minutes to the bus stop, 40 minutes to Zurich. We, the host family, live upstairs.

The nearest ski resort can be reached by post bus in just 13 minutes. Beautiful walks can be made from the front door. For bookings of one night or more, you will receive the Toggenburg guest card with which you can benefit from many discounts. By public transport you travel free of charge in Obertoggenburg.

Our cozy studio is located in Walenstadtberg at 850m directly below the Churfirsten, giving you an optimal starting point for hikes, bike tours, etc. A cool refreshment is offered by Lake Walensee, which is 10 minutes by car at the foot of the mountain. You can end the day comfortably at the fire bowl and enjoy the stunning views of the valley. There is a bus service to Walenstadtberg.

The cabin is newly renovated and very easy. It has two rooms. A living room with kitchenette and a bedroom with 4 beds (bunk bed for a total of 4 guests). The toilet is in the adjacent alpine hut and about 40 meters away. The water must be fetched by a fountain (about 20 meters). A solar system provides electricity for light. Important: The property can only be reached on foot!
