Our tour is ideal for everyone who wants to get to know Madrid in a short time but in a relaxed way. Conducted in English. Private tours in English, Dutch, Spanish, French if available and Portuguese if available. In about 3 hours and 11 km biking, you will more or less see and hear everything of the old center while riding a very comfortable bicycle. The “must see” places as well as the hidden corners away from the typical touristic paths. We will ride mainly on cycling paths, pedestrian zones and parks. Of course there will be various stops to take pictures. When we stop, we will tell you about the stories behind what you see and tell our personal experiences of our time in Madrid. This experience is for those who wish to discover an authentic Spanish Leathercraft Workshop and learn how to make their own Leather items. I will show the participants the use of the tools used for Leathercraft, many of which havent changed since medievil times. I will also introduce them to the variety of different kinds of leather that exist. Each participant will have the opportunity to use real Spanish Cowhide to create a Leather item with their own hands. In the workshop the participants can choose between a pretty travelling purse (with or without a strap), an original belt, a wallet, two different purses or braided bracelets. There is also the opcion of making a piece different from these which will be designed in the act...maybe something one always wanted to make....a handbag, a mobile phone case, a belt pouch ....if this is the case the teacher should be informed beforehand. Each piece will be unique as we will use technique such as stamping or embossing to decorate it. These techniques were introduced by the Moors hundreds of years ago and have a long tradition in Spanish Leathercraft. There will not be many of us in the worshop so we have the chance to get to know eachother without hurry. For those who dont speak Spanish I speak perfect English as I am originally from Ireland. Other things to note We will be using cutter knifes at one stage of the experience although for those who prefer the Handcraftsman will do the cutting.

You’ll be welcomed into my opened kitchen and lush garden to master the fine art of cooking the perfect paella, following my grandmother’s recipe. I'll explain how to prepare it and will share with you some stories around that traditional dish. We are going to cook, enjoy wine, tapas and a delicious meal together whilst I give you an insight into one of the most coveted recipes in the world. We really want to make an effort so that you can feel and experience the magical traditions and stories of Spain, which is why we will always be a group of a maximum of 6 people. We won't follow the typical tour; we will be like a group of friends having fun. We will begin our experience by traveling to our first stop, the mythical city of Toledo, a Roman Carpetani settlement dating back to 193 B.C. Our immersion in Toledo's culture will start with a walk through the viewpoints offering the best panoramic views of the city. we will stroll through its magical streets, marvel at its impressive architecture ,and ascend to the largest fortress in the city. There, we will take a break so you can enjoy a leisurely and unhurried meal, as we assure you that in our adventure, the idea is for you to fully enjoy. We will continue our journey to the second destination, which will be the city of Segovia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we will explore the best-preserved Roman aqueduct in the world, climb to its highest point, and discover one of Spain's most important medieval fortresses, the majestic Alcázar. Before we embark on our return we will stroll through Calle Real , famous for its magnificent shops where you can buy a beautiful souvenir.

What you are about to discover is the result of 15 years in the making. I wanted this experience to be nothing short of EPIC. If you are ACTIVE, if you love NATURE, GREAT company, LAUGHTERS, WATER-WATER-WATER and BREATHTAKING locations for the most amazing PICTURES ever, this experience is for YOU. I will take you to what I consider the top 4 locations to visit in Valencia in ONE AMAZING EPIC DAY! During the trip we will visit waterfalls, swim in a natural thermal spring lagoon (25C year round), water caves, canyons, and a few surprises along the way. It is not too extreme or strenuous as we move to the different locations with the minivan. Let’s call it a glamventure day :) This is NOT a hiking day. This tour is suited for almost everyone. Fit or not, young or more experienced ;-) I will guide you to get close to the massive waterfall, swim at the thermal springs and really almost whatever you are up to. If you are not so active, all the locations are perfect for chilling, taking amazing pictures and just enjoy a perfect day in the nature with fellow travellers. Of course there are nice stops to have local food and drinks. This experience is perfect for couples, group of friends, families, hen/stag dos and solo travellers.

We will visit some well known sites and also hidden gems. Tours are only in language at a time. As a driving force and mirror and of the history, culture and art of Spain but also of Europe, along the tour the past will come to life. From the Muslim influence to the austere North European of the Hapsburg and the glamour of the Bourbons, the city is an enthralling mix of cultures. You will discover how a fort of the IX century became the capital of an Empire. In Madrid great stories arise in every corner. This is the city that governed more than half of America and large areas of the world, produced some of the best artists and writers of all time but also struggled with crime, a Napoleon invasion and a Civil War. Along the tour we will visit the city center and the old town through another perspective finding along the way beautiful buildings, hidden corners as meaningful details and misteries and stories that will help us understand the evolution and character of the capital. My goal is that at the end of the tour you will not only see some of the most beautiful and meaningful sites and also less well known great spots, but also understand their deep meaning and how modern Madrid is the result of a series of unexpected events, conquests, successes, catastrophes and contradictions that create a unique urbanism, heritage and culture with great impact in Western culture.

This experience is for those who wish to discover an authentic Spanish Leathercraft Workshop and learn how to make their own Leather items. I will show the participants the use of the tools used for Leathercraft, many of which havent changed since medievil times. I will also introduce them to the variety of different kinds of leather that exist. Each participant will have the opportunity to use real Spanish Cowhide to create a Leather item with their own hands. In the workshop the participants can choose between a pretty travelling purse (with or without a strap), an original belt, a wallet, two different purses or braided bracelets. There is also the opcion of making a piece different from these which will be designed in the act...maybe something one always wanted to make....a handbag, a mobile phone case, a belt pouch ....if this is the case the teacher should be informed beforehand. Each piece will be unique as we will use technique such as stamping or embossing to decorate it. These techniques were introduced by the Moors hundreds of years ago and have a long tradition in Spanish Leathercraft. There will not be many of us in the worshop so we have the chance to get to know eachother without hurry. For those who dont speak Spanish I speak perfect English as I am originally from Ireland. Other things to note We will be using cutter knifes at one stage of the experience although for those who prefer the Handcraftsman will do the cutting.
