This is not often the kind of place to stay on Airbnb. A more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time journey to a 19th-century Ostrobothnian village. The destination is best suited for lovers of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who are not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

Accommodation made for 3, up to 5 sleeping places for those staying in their own sleeping bags. In the kitchenette, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee press cutlery, etc.). Showers with an adjacent beach sauna. A composting tree. The sauna is wood-burning. If necessary, we will guide you to the sauna heating. Used in summer and early fall.

Nice semi-detached apartment

A cozy log cabin comfortably accommodates even a larger group. The space in the cottage has a total of ~75 square meters + an open loft. There are four pairs of beds in the cottage, two of which are in their own rooms and two in the loft of the cottage. The cottage also has a dishwasher, a washing machine, a drying cabinet for wet clothes, and a sauna. The cottage is located ~1.5km from Luosto. There is also direct access to the ski trails near the cottage. Pyhätunturi's services are also less than 20 kilometers away.

Downtown services within walking distance (approx. 0.5 km). Excellent nature, hiking and skiing destinations in the surroundings, e.g. Kommatti 6 km and Pyhä-Luosto 40 km.

Villa Luppopirtti is a traditional Finnish log cabin in the middle of peaceful woods and close to the Kitinen river. It’s a perfect hideaway for a couple or a family with two to three kids. The wood-heated sauna at the cabin is an experience in its own class compared to an electric sauna. After enjoying the sauna you can enjoy sitting by the fire in the barbecue hut or by the fireplace in the living room. EV-charging station and a complete waste-recycling center on the spot.

Pretty and cosy wooden cottage with sauna in peaceful environment. The cottage is located 31km from Rovaniemi city centre. Because of the location outside all the city lights, this is a perfect location to see the northern lights. The best chances to see the the northern lights is during a clear sky without clouds. There are also different forecasts that you can guugle to estimate the possibility of seeing northern ligts. There is a monument of silence built near by.

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.
