Beautiful historic home. Great location to downtown and several cute coffee shops within walkable distance. We would definitely stay there again if ever in the area.

I cannot say enough good things about Misfit Farm! The location was so serene, the movie room was awesome for our family movie night, and the garden tub was so relaxing. But our favorite part was getting to meet all the animals on the farm! Tim let my seven-year-old son feed the goats and let me bottle-feed Buttercup, the baby cow. Our favorite farm friends were Rusty, the bull and Shadow, the cat - so friendly! We sipped tea on the front porch at night while we watched fireflies, and then we got a heavenly night's sleep on the comfy beds. This place is amazing - we will definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You need to realize you are staying in a house that is over 100 years old. The kitchen was well equipped with items needed for preparing meals (with that said, I find it is usually helpful if you bring your favorite kitchen knife). The house was easy to heat and cool in mid-May. Great water pressure. Clean shower. Comfortable furniture in the living room. The beds are hard so keep that in mind if you are a sleep diva. They are not terrible, just not a soft as my body needs. But I do have back/hip problems, even in my own soft bed. The yards were beautiful, nice landscaping. We enjoyed the chickens roaming about. Carmella supplied the house really well with paper towels, tissue, cleaning supplies and bath linens. We stayed 5 nights and had plenty of linens.

The place is huge and comfortable. The bed was awesome! Host is a great person and very nice. Didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant but highly recommend the local diner fo breakfast and the Trackside Restaurant for dinner! Also the local Bourbon distillery tour was fun! You are smack dab in beautiful horse farm country! We will be back!
