Distinctive Belhaven Guesthouse

Close to Millsaps, Belhaven, and UMMC, the Oake Room Guest House is a distinctive Belhaven property nestled against an historic French Normandy home built in 1929. It has its own private entrance and private off street parking. A brightly lit staircase decorated with French posters, takes you directly up to a large oversized space which includes a vaulted ceiling and old heart pine flooring, along with 2 large sunlit dormer windows overlooking a French formal garden. The Oake Room includes a comfortable couch with a large end table to use as a desk, 1 double bed, 1 single bed, and an upright piano for those who play! The bathroom has a shower, 1 sink, and toilet. The guesthouse includes a small dorm size refrigerator and a microwave. If you are exploring Mississippi and her literary fame, I have many Mississippi authors on my bookshelves, with Eudora Welty’s home within easy walking distance! My location is easily accessible to downtown Jackson with its antebellum Old Capitol and MS Governor’s Mansion , along with the New Capitol. Whether you are visiting Jackson for the IBC or the MS Opera downtown , or you are here to visit the UMMC or Belhaven’s New Stage Theater, my location cannot be better-just a few minutes’ drive away! 3 excellent restaurants including Lou’s, the Manship, and the Fairview are all within 2 miles. Come, relax, and enjoy quiet, refined privacy at the distinctive Oake Room Guesthouse in Belhaven!

VERY SPACIOUS INCLUDES POOL, TWO GYMS AND TENNIS COURT! Guests have private use of the condo with self check-in keyless entry. Has 1 bedroom with queen bed, bathroom with shower/tub, enclosed screened patio, sunroom, living room with TV and Sofa that converts to a double bed or chaise, dining room, full kitchen, and laundry area. Central heat and air conditioning. We are on the third floor. The stairway is close to the condo and two elevators are also available. No pets. No parties.

Cozy house right in the middle of it all! It’s a duplex so there is a possibility there will be guests in the back but you will never see them! Very private!. It’s a great space with plenty of room! Big den and great bedrooms . Full size kitchen! Front porch living, 2 BD, comfy couch. Close to bars, coffee shops, restaurants . Dining room. Cable and Internet. A true home! Best area in Jackson! An enchanted place! Ck out my "eclectic" cottage if this is taken!
