Eclectic Garden Apartment in a Quiet Residential Area

This unique apartment not only is a one bedroom flat, but it has a nice, quite big kitchen with a breakfast table, a private garden with another table to enjoy some quiet moments or hosting guests. Guests have their own toilet as you have your master bathroom with a double-bathtub, a separate rainfall shower, toilet, wash machine and dryer. In-between your bedroom and bathroom, there is a dressing room with closets and access to your own storage space, e.g. for your suitcases. You enter this apartment by a door that is completely separate from the other main entrance of the house. Happy to provide support and/or tips about what to do here in Zurich. The apartment is in a residential neighborhood. A few shops are within walking distance. Nearby public transportation provides a 20-minute ride to downtown Zurich and reaches the airport in 30 minutes. Next to your apartment there is a tramway station that brings you to downtown Zurich, which takes about 20 minutes. Close to the apartment, there is also a bus station and among the lines offered, interesting certainly is the one that connects you to Zurich-Oerlikon's railway station to catch a train to Zurich Airport, total travel time to the airport around 30 minutes. On the other direction of the bus line, you get to Zurich-Altstetten and there's again another railway station. We have a dedicated car parking space for our guests on the other side of the street in front of our house.

"Margaritli" Cozy studio in the old town of Zurich

Are you in Zurich for work or as a traveler and are you looking for a place to stay where you feel at home? Cozy studio right in the heart of Zurich's old town. The studio is very centrally located. Sights, bars, restaurants, shops and the main train station can be reached in a few minutes on foot. Because it is located in a prime tourist location in the historic Old Town of Zurich some noise can be expected. So if you are looking for a very quiet environment, this unit may not be your choice.

Historic, calm & stylish

The spacious (25 m2) renovated studio on the third floor has a separate private bathroom across the non-private hallway. It has a kingsize bed, fridge, coffee machine, water kettle and a table to work with high-speed Wifi. In the hallway you will find a little kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, sink, a washer/dryer & a printer/scanner/copy machine. Heating with heat from the earth and by spring 2023 we will be almost CO2 neutral thanks to our new solar roof. Until then possible workemissions.

Cozy studio with great city and lake connections

The apartment consists of a living room/bedroom with a double bed, and separate kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is small, but as i love to cook, it's well equipped. There's also a balcony which gets sun from the early afternoon right through until sunset. The apartment is equipped with high speed fiber internet. Public transport connections are great - there's a tram stop 50 meters from the apartment. From there, it's 15 minutes to the central train station or lake, and 30 to the airport.

In Zurich (Kreis 5), the area with the highest quality of urban life, in walking distance to the train station, the Landesmuseum, Old Town and the famous shopping street. The house is a listed building in a save neighbourhood. This is an apartment in the middle of the city. You can sometimes hear the trains entering the main station. Those who are sensitive to such noises should not choose this apartment. This apartment is on the 1ST FLOOR of the house (no elevator).

Close to Dolderbahn and public transport. From the Römerhof it takes about 15 minutes to walk up the hill. With the Dolderbahn from Römerhof to "Waldhaus", then it is only 2 minutes to the flat. Parking is available in the immediate vicinity for a fee.
