A Small Quiet Farm For Nature, Book, and Folk Art Lovers! Folk Tree Farm is a lovely, simple & peaceful 21-acre farm located at the center of Washington Island. The private second floor guest apt has an outside staircase entry (19 steps); the farmers live year round on the ground floor. We're in our 7th year on the farm, busy in the garden, planting our orchard, building a greenhouse, and tending our goats. We welcome you to the island and to our farm. People of all backgrounds are very welcome.

Cabin Unwind, tucked into the woods

This quiet TINY (144sq ft) gem, privately tucked away and yet very accessible, Cabin Unwind, has a seasonal porch, queen sized bed, a few 'kitchen appliances' and GREAT wifi. The HOUSE SHARED bathroom has it's own side entrance, across from the Cabin. There is a SUMMER SHARED porta-potty and proper shower, right close by, as well. WINTER GUESTS, please note...DON'T come down the driveway without PROPER WINTER tires! Leave your car at the turnaround and I'll gladly shuttle you and your gear.

Cabin on lake w sauna. Pets ok. Boat and kayaks.

Cabin on lake w no public access. Owners out of sight and sound. Great pike fishing on supplied jonboat and 4 kayaks. Wood-burning sauna next to cabin. Lake Michigan beach and boat access 5 minutes away. 45 minutes to Pictured Rocks, 20 minutes to Kitch iti kipi, 25 minutes to La Fayette State Park. 12v batteries supply a bit of power and a few lights. Pets are welcome except on beds and futon :) Silverware, utensils, propane and firewood provided. You'll need ice, food, and drinking water.
