Dayton Guest Suite with a View

My husband, Joe, retired in 2018 from his job of 30 yrs. I retired in Jan 2020 (right before Covid19) from owning/operating a large childcare facility for 22 yrs. We raised our 5 children in this beautiful home. We love to share our gift of hospitality when we have the opportunity. Dayton is a short drive to Carson City, Virginia City, Lake Tahoe, Reno. It is perfect for long/short term business, family, leisure trips, or anyone just looking for a comfortable place to stay between destinations.

ON THE TRUCKEE RIVER right in the historic downtown area, our little place is a 2 block walk to restaurants AND shopping. You’ll love our place because you can sit inside or in bed and watch the river flow by. It's a peaceful place, new and modern, private and the middle of it all. It's not just a place to stay, it's a destination. QUIET people only please. We have a firm sofa sleeper + 2 comfortable twin floor mattresses so it can sleep 4. It's a tight fit for 4 but doable if you're close.

Warm and inviting finished basement with it's own entrance and free parking. Centrally located in upscale southwest Reno neighborhood. 5 minutes away from the airport. Close to walking trails. Includes 1 master bedroom with a queen bed, a second full size bed and a small futon. Food station includes a coffee machine, microwave, small electric oven, air fryer and mini-fridge. 48" tv with Roku, WiFi, workspace in master bedroom. Outdoor eating area. We do welcome pets with a $45 fee.

The private in-law unit is a cozy one bedroom space that has it's own entrance, full bathroom, full kitchen with cooking utensils, off street parking, wifi, and TV. It is situated downstairs from our main house, as a walk out basement. Our home over looks the Truckee River and is situated between Reno (10 min) and Truckee (25 min). Our property is in Verdi and sits on 2.5 acres above the Truckee River which makes for stunning sunrises and sunsets. Come enjoy the views and beauty here!
