Our home is on a 4-acre lot on High Rock Lake. The guest space is a fully furnished guesthouse above a detached storage area (15 steps). The bedroom has a king-size bed and TV, the den has a full sofa, recliner, and TV with HD antenna and Netflix - NO CABLE. There is a full kitchen, bath, washer/dryer and walk-in closet. There is a small deck with a table and chairs overlooking the lake. Guests have access to the pier, 2 kayaks, swing, firepit, grill and gardens. We DO have WiFi.

We are five minutes from Carolina's Treetop challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Fifteen minutes to Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery- Badin Lake, and Uwharrie recreational area. Eight miles to Dennis Vineyards. Asheboro Zoo is one hour. Each guest over one is an additional $15 per day per person—there is a pet charge of $10 per day per animal. PETS MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. (Airbnb cannot charge a "daily" pet fee) So we are asking for any difference after you book.

You are going to love it! The cottage is furnished with an eclectic flare. Lovely artwork and a kitchen that is very user-friendly. Spices included :) This 2 BR, 1 bath cottage, makes a cozy getaway. Ideal location with Cabarrus Arena, Charlotte Motor Speedway less than 15 mins. away. Pets are more than welcome. The large yard is not fenced. High-speed wifi, no basic cable. This 100 year old farmhouse has been completely restored for your comfort and is just waiting for your visit. An update on this listing. The county is currently working on installing a new waterline on a neighboring road and storing their heavy equipment on the same road as this Airbnb so occasionally throughout the day, especially the morning and evening there are beeping noises from the workers setting up and Ending their day. No complaints so far, but I want everyone to be aware. It hasn’t scared the deer off.
