A small seaside house where you can stay quietly in a village surrounded by the sea and the mountains "SOTOHAMA house"

"Sotohama house" is located in the Yoshino district of the Mitsuzu Peninsula, a famous spot on the Sunset that is known as the best of Shodoshima, in the Yoshino district of the Suntu Peninsula. The room is an entire maisonette type per day.The landlord lives in the adjacent Heike, so we are available if you need anything. We are currently preparing another room.It is connected by a locked door separating the sunroom from the room you are preparing, but it is a private space to enter and exit through a private entrance. Shower booth, toilet with washlet, and simple kitchenette.We also have terrace seating in the garden. The Yoshino area is about a 7-minute drive from Ikeda Port, where there is a ferry to Takamatsu. The city is well separated, making it a quiet, small settlement with old-fashioned scenery in Setouchi.Yoshino, with its mountains and the sea back to back, is a beautiful neighborhood that is also popular with migrants in recent years. It is a 10-second walk to Yoshino Beach in front of the sight.If the weather is nice, you can watch the sunset all year round.Watch the sunset on the pier that stretches out to the sea while you spend your trip. I'm currently a host while raising a 0-year-old child.We may respond unattended, such as check-in and information about the room.Please understand before making a reservation.

"Kaiwa no Sato" Our house is an indigo house built in the first year of culture (1804) during the ornate era of "indigo". The main house and bed (the barn that sleeps the indigo) have been demolished, but they have preserved the historic guest room and garden to be used as a farmhouse homestay. Once upon a time, "indigo" grew up in the fertile land of the lower Yoshino River in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing a lot of wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa clan). Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

Just 5 minutes by walk from subway Imadegawa station. You can stay like you live in Kyoto. We have wooden bath with small garden view. There are wooden deck besides living space, you will have relaxing time at the wooden deck with Japanese traditional style garden "Karesansui "garden view. This house is barrier free. There are distance between Tatami room and wood floor but we can prepare bed at wood floor so I think it is no problem. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
