Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Balcony with outdoor furniture. Sleeping loft with 140cm dubble bed and sofa bed 140cm with double bed. Stairs from the living room up to the sleeping loft. Relax in a 2014 house in an unenclosed location. Modern kitchen standard and in the bathroom there is a sauna with sea glimpse. There is a simple eka and for those who want to paddle sup or kayak there is one of each. There are berries and mushrooms in the forests and in the evenings a nice sunset to end the day with. For the early morning, the day can start at sunrise over the lake. To Hällefors C it is 5km. Among other things, there is a grocery store, gas station, system company, pharmacy, health center, bathhouse, bowling.

Looking for peace & quiet to relax? We now offer our lovely island for rent in fine lake Möckeln. Here you will get in either of the two small boats with a short rowing trip of 5 minutes. The cottage currently offers 3 single beds but there is also the possibility of a sofa bed and cot + crib etc. 230v electricity, municipal sewage (shower + water toilet) with lake water in the tap. In the kitchen there is a stove with oven, microwave and fridge. Sheets and towels are available for laundry fee 100sek/set (cash). Welcome!

Lovely holiday accommodation for those who like animals and nature! Here you can fish, swim, hike and cycle. There are several nature reserves and hiking and cycling trails in the vicinity. You have access to a simple rowing boat (life jackets can be borrowed) and your own bay or you can borrow our jetty where you can dive or fish. We are located between Örebro and Karlskoga in Norhammar. Towels and sheets are included by the guest. For an additional cost, it is available to rent from the host.
