This monumental building is located on the oldest shopping street in the Netherlands, and you can taste the authentic atmosphere through the wooden skeleton. In front of the door is a traffic-free zone, so there is no nuisance of passing traffic. Everything you need can be found literally in the street: shops, restaurants, supermarket (opposite the apartment), good atmosphere, cozy people, entertainment and public transport. Beek is een van de mooiste dorpen van Nederland en heeft al verschillende schoonheidsprijzen gewonnen. Ons huis staat aan de rand van een gemoedelijke woonwijk. Het is ongeveer 10 minuten lopen naar Duitsland of naar onze heuvels en bossen, het Wylermeer, het Pieterpad en The walk of Wisdom. Het dorpscentrum, winkels en restaurants zijn eveneens op loopafstand! De Ooijpolder met uitzichten op de Waal en haar vele strandjes zijn ongeveer 5 kilometer verderop. Alsook het centrum van Nijmegen!

It is within walking distance of the central station, city center and Radboud University and hospital. Parking is also no problem. The street is quiet and green. In the apartment you will find all kinds of equipment such as a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven and microwave. The apartment has a private entrance and balcony.

The center is within walking distance (5 minutes) and the apartment is located around the corner from Nijmegen Central Station (2 min). Only paid parking is possible in the street. Free parking is 10 minutes' walk away. Within 2 minutes' walking distance, you can park for 11 euros a day (Keizerkarelpleingarage).

In the spacious bedroom on the ground floor there is a king-size 2- and a good single bed. On the first floor is a double bed in a separate open space. The large lawn is available for a wonderful game of football or badminton!

You stay in a former forge from +-1870 in a beautiful, historic and very quiet area. This "blacksmith" has been converted into a modern, cozy, very complete and spacious house. Ideal as a base for various natural or sports trips, or as your 'home away from home' when you temporarily need a second accommodation. Outside is a modest terrace overlooking an old, uninhabited rectory. Wonderfully quiet!
