I'll offer a pickup from your place and we will start the hike at 3:30 AM (Pickup is free if you stay 2KM from downtown) It's not just about enjoying a peaceful sunrise from the top of Ella rock and I'm not here just to show you the directions. Sunrise will happen around 6 am and the hike doesn't take 2:30h. We will be having a peaceful walk sharing stories about the country and culture rather than rushing to the top. If it's not right after the full moon, then I know the darkest spots in town for stargazing. (Can order a shooting star or two for you) Peak is less crowded than little Adams or any other peak in Ella town so you can enjoy a peaceful sunrise. Daytime is all about flora and fauna, and answer any of your questions regarding Sri Lanka. I come from a family where one of my granddads is a Sinhala doctor for snack bites and other is a hunter. I grow up with them in a village near the largest rainforest in South Asia. So I'm a natural when it comes to animals and plants. At nautilus Cooking Class, you'll be able to shop at the market, cook authentic srilankan food, and eat eight favorite Srilankan dishes. The day will be divided into two parts that will have exploring the biggest fresh markets (Greenmarket,Fishmarket)in City of Galle —where you shop for fresh ingredients before you cook them. Then, take Tuk-Tuk back to the cooking school. The cooking class will be conducted in nice seaview balcony where you will be introduced to Srilankan exotic ingredients, including vegetables, spices, and herbs. What We Cook : Rice Three vegetable curry Dhal curry (lentil) Fish or Meat (Chicken) Coconut sambol Papadum when the class is done you can eat what you cook unill your stomach is getting full. Highlights Visit Sigiriya rock fortress Or Pidurangala rock Village tour with lunch Visit National park Or Dambulla cave temple You are picked up at 6.00 a.m. from your residence in Kandy and drive straight away to the lion rock You will visit the eight's wonder of the world, which contains huge walls, water canals, security guard rooms, natural stoned arches, mirror stone and world-famous Sigiri paintings. Where you have to spend more than two and half hours. Or we can visit Pidurangala Rock. It takes more than an hour to climb the rock through a thick wood path there is a 360 Celsius degrees scenic view point on the rock top. Then, the second destination is a village tour to experience ancient village life and its day-to-day activities with catamaran rides, walks towards paddy fields, cookery demonstration on traditional Sri Lankan foods, and enjoy a traditional meal. Otherwise Enjoy lunch from Restaurant. To conclude the journey, we will visit one of the national parks in the wild life reservoir of Minneriya, Kaudulla or Eco to see giants and wild elephants of the jungle. Or We will visit the Dambulla cave temple, which is the largest and the best-preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. You will be dropped back to your hotel in Kandy by the evening.

This activity will be conducting in the morning to experience the sunrise or in the evening to experience the sunset along with a bird watching tour. Pick up can be arranged you from the place mentioned and can arrange to drop to the same location afterwards(extra cost involved depending on how far you from the meeting point). The meeting/starting time for the sessions at meeting point are as follow; Morning session-5:30 a.m. Evening session-5:00 p.m. We are using a catamaran and you can sit on the deck before starting the activity. It is a very relaxing experience while enjoying the scenery by overlooking both Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rocks. I will tell you the stories about the history behind Sigiriya and Pidurangala when those places were occupied by the King Kashyapa (473-491 AD) and also by the monks. Also you can observe about 40 birds along with their behaviours. I’d be honored to be your guide showing you my hometown Kandy from a local’s point of view. I will take you on a spectacular drive through the Sacred City of Kandy, now a popular UNESCO World Heritage Site. Let’s explore some amazing sights together as you get to know my hometown: We will visit the Sacred Temple of the Tooth, situated in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, I’ll drive you to the Queen's Bathing Pavilion, the National Museum of Kandy, the Buddhist Temple on the top oft he hill and a breathtaking view! On the way to a tea plantation we will come across one of my favorite spots - the banks of the river Mahawali. We will definitely see some monkeys on our day together - with some luck we might even spot a jaguar in the distance along the river. I suggest we grab some food at a local restaurant - at your own expense. Please make sure to bring drinking water, as tourists often don’t take our tap water well. I’ve got these favorite spots but of course if you have any preferences or places you’d like to see that aren’t mentioned above - just let me know and I’ll make sure to incorporate them into our day together. Anuradhapura old town is one of the most important places in Sri Lanka. The history of the past capital starts around 500 CE. In this time it was one of the greatest centers of Buddhism and one of the biggest ancient towns in Asia with an area bigger than 1 km squared. Almost all of the monuments are in a beautiful park. So it is definitely worth to see it :). Visiting Anuradhapura could take even a few days to see all of the monuments but I will try to show you the most important monuments in one day. We will meet close to Mirisawetiya Stupa (sacred city) or we can choose the place based on your need. -You can choose to do a walking tour or rent bicycles (4 USD each) or if you have your own vehicle I can join you -We will go through many important monuments such as Sacred Bo Tree, Ruwanweliseya stupa, Isurumuniya temple and more -these monuments are included the price except for Isurumuniya temple. (200 Rp) -Lastly, we can visit souvenir shops and spice market If you want, your experience can be even deeper. Perhaps one of the most unusual tours during your travels in Sri Lanka would be the night time walk to locate a few of the 21 slender loris' in the forest patch of the Smithsonian Primate Research Station. We start our walk around 6:30pm when these beautiful nocturnal mammals wake up with a piercing shrill whistling call notifying each individual of the others location and off they go feeding and moving around. They are usually high up on the trees and we watch them with the aid of red lights as not to disturb them as they move through their home ranges. We ask the guests not to use white lights or flash photography as the animals would get disoriented and upset. During the hour or one and half hours on the trail we usually spot one to five individual loris but as they are wild animals, we cannot guarantee this. While you're with us, you might also be able to spot some nocturnal birds, mouse deer or the increasingly rare fishing cat! Other things to note White lights or flash photography is not permitted. Please wear closed shoes, long pants and long sleeve shirts. We recommend wearing insect repellent. This is not suitable if you are claustrophobic.

Fun, Food & Learn Traditional Sri Lanka food is very enjoyable and world famous, but cooking it yourself adds yet another dimension to the experience. We pick up from hotel then travel to cooking lesson. We do cooking classes in Kandy at a house located in quiet residential areas just outside the city. Each day of the week there are different menus on training, reflecting the cultural and culinary traditions of Sri Lanka. Other things to note Lessons typically last 3-4 hours but can vary depending on how good you can cook! at the end you have to find transportation from yourself or we can provide it so you have to pay for it.

Hike to see the sunrise at little Adams peak mountain. WHAT WE'LL DO: In order to grab the best, we'll pick you around 5.30 AM in the morning from any hotel/villa you staying around Ella. First we will drive to hiking start point Ella Little Adam's Peak. Little Adams peak is the best place to see the Ella gap and the plain continues to the southern coast of Sri Lanka. This is more than a hike and you will learn much on flora and fauna, history and folklore of Sri Lanka and Ella too. Little Adam`s Peak. It is not a challenging hike and it`s quite short, but gives you a good impression of the landscape around Ella and the view is fantastic!
