Experience the Stellenbosch Winelands
A celebration of smaller vineyards driven by passion, honesty and quality. Our first stop is on the Eastern side of Stellenbosch at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains. This is a special location tucked away in the most northern corner of Paradyskloof (Paradise Valley). Pockets of special vines produce a superlative and memorable first tasting. A journey through the vibrant and tree lined streets of Stellenbosch town is up next. Steeped in history and charm we'll tell a few stories from the time we spent here during our youth before we reach the Banghoek Valley. Breath-taking views set the tone for an unforgettable experience with the focus on letting our guests understand the sense of place and taste. These award winning wines are brilliantly crafted and produced with the help of the location's very own microclimate. I struggle to believe there is a better setting to taste wine anywhere in the country. Lunch then takes place at Boschendal's Farm Deli Restaurant on the oldest estate in the region dating back to 1865. The final destination is at a quaint family owned and run vineyard where we host the tasting privately in their underground cellar below their family home or in their garden often with one of the true matriarch's of the industry and her 5 doggos. 3 different wineries all unique in location, style and charm combining for a true Stellenbosch Winelands experience.

Many of the food stops are curated specifically for us and you’ll get to meet some of the passionate purveyors who will explain the origin and preparation of dishes. Food stops may vary but will include stops for the famous Cape Malay koesusters and samoosas, a visit to the Company Gardens, a chocolatier, traditional Afrikaans cuisine, and many more. Walking food tours are considered ideal opportunities to orientate first time visitors to a city and show repeat visitors some of the hidden gems. Join us to show you Cape Town’s history, culture and food. Other things to note: Avoid the tourist traps and get to experience Cape Town with a local guide, and of course, Eat Like a Local! *Unfortunately not suitable for gluten free or vegan diets.
Boulders Beach & Penguins - Wine tasting optional
I will take you to Boulders Beach the most remarkable viewing point of the African Penguins. These African Penguins have colonies from Southern Namibia and all the way around the South African coast. I will make your experience rewarding as this is the only place where you will be able to swim with the Penguins in close proximity. Penguins are living in the wild and therefore although you get to see them up close and personal there will be no direct contact as I am committed to protecting the welfare of these little guys. The Penguin numbers are fast declining because of overfishing and marine pollution and my goal is teach tourists about our Penguin population, as they are now classified as an endangered species. There is flexibility in photo opportunities along the way, and including stopping to take pictures with the seals. UPON REQUEST WE CAN ADD ONE WINE FARM FOR TASTING. THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL COST AND TIME.

We stop along the way and grab a koesiester, before walking down the street with all the colourful houses. This is the most-photographed street in South Africa.
