The Aloe house is a completely solar powered house which will not be affected by the load shedding whatsoever. You have a spectacular view of the Malungane mountain from every room of the house with its ceiling to floor glass sliding doors. their is a large fire place in the main living room to make fires during those crisp winter nights. in winter the cows calve right outside the house which can be a great insight into the farm life. sunsets over the entire Drakensberg range.

Unique Caradavel with a view to rival all others

The Riverland Caradavel is essentially a caravan that that has been built on to. It offers a unique stay and boasts one of the best views in the Southern Berg. The caradavel has basic lighting, a fridge and some plug points for charging devices all powered by solar - so no loadshedding woes. It has a functioning gas stove and oven, a large fire place and the bathroom has a lovely shower with a gas geyser. The bench outside boasts one of the best views in the berg.
