Highly recommend! This was fun, light, delicious, and also, a learning opportunity. Apart from the tour of the land and playing with the animals, the cheese tasting is fantastic. Thankfully, you also have the option to purchase some locally made goodies (even cheesecake!) for your friends and family (all of which are freshly made with the milk of the animals you just played with) 🥰🙏🥰 An unique experience overall, just go for it.

We had a fun experience! The goats were adorable and the kids enjoyed feeding and interacting with them up close. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They made us feel comfortable and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time as a family and would definitely recommend this experience, especially for families with kids. Thank you both for having us!

We were in the area for the weekend and decided to take my granddaughter to see the goats. And of course to sample the homemade goat cheese! The hosts were amazing! Very knowledgeable about the animals on the farm and the cheese tasting was delicious! The hosts were even able to thoughtfully include my granddaughter in the fun while in her stroller. We learned several new things and brought home some yummy cheeses and cheesecake. We also know now that they ship as well. We will probably be ordering more soon!

Meet the hosts

Award winning master cheesemaker and farmer Heather Goforth started this business with no previous experience and is now the first cheese maker in the county. In her first year as a certified cheese maker she won 2 first place awards for fresh cheese of the year. Prior to 2020 Heather had no farming or cheese making experience and is 100% self-taught. Heather and Chris spent the first 2 years building the farm, getting certified, and learning about dairy processing.
