Hi, I'm Marilyn. I'm your personal guide to everything Black Broadway. I grew up in DC and have a deep connection to this area. My tours are inspired by my family and friends who only visited typical sites. There's so much more to discover! Black Broadway has a rich history that should be showcased. I'm excited to share this story with you.

Absolutely loved the tour, real information from real people. It’s a long walk, dress accordingly— and try the bites along the way. We had a blast! Great tour guide and awesome insight. Must try Ben’s!

Marilyn is an enthusiastic storyteller of Black American history. She knows the facts and her local area. You have to be quick to grasp the many pieces of information, but they are conveyed in an immediate and authentic way, which sharpens your understanding and your desire to know more and learn about an area that a European does not usually relate to!
Thank you.

This was a great tour! I really enjoyed the knowledge and history of DC. I have been to DC many times but this was the best experience I have had in awhile. If you are looking for someone that is knowledgeable and knows the layout of historical BLACK DC this is the tour for you!

Im not big on walking tours especially when I found out it was 2 hours. That 2 hours felt like 5 minutes. Marilyn was so knowledgeable about the black culture. When I come back to Washington I want to take the tour again, Marilyn is a whole vibe as we say in New York.
