Vacation rentals in Wabasha County

Aptly referred to as the perched cabin, we enjoyed watching the barges on Lake Pepin, the trains passing along the river’s edge and the eagles soaring above us, all from our perch above the lake. The porch provided fantastic views. We will visit again.

Katie’s place was a great spot for a weekend trip. The cabin was clean, private & had all we needed, allowing us to feel right at home! Despite some issues with the smoke detectors, we had a great time and would return. Katie was a kind and responsive host!

We enjoyed our five nights at Pepin Marina Retreat. The marina is directly across the street; it was enjoyable to sit on the porch that had a swing and two rocking chairs. The views of the lake and bluffs were aesthetically pleasing. Walkable to restaurants and libations. The Loft apartment was tastefully decorated, with a well-appointed kitchen. The bed was very comfortable for us. We will return to Marya’s Pepin Marina Retreat, and we hope you will love your time there as much as we did.

We loved the layout of the house and the view of Lake Pepin at sunset. We had just the right amount of rooms and space for my son’s families and myself. The fireplaces were an added benefit which we truly enjoyed. Although we came down with the flu we all enjoyed the time spent there together. Thank you Sandy and Eric for sharing your house with us. It is a very special place.

Kim was exceptionally helpful meeting our needs. Very responsive and easy to work with. This place is heavenly!!! Would love to stay in the summer or fall!!

Cute cottage was a perfect weekend getaway. Cute town that was walkable from the cottage.

We enjoyed our stay in Pepin. Charlie's cottage was close to everything we were interested in, was very quiet even though off the highway and we appreciated the accommodations.

The photos of this place do not do it justice! It is absolutely adorable inside. Super spacious, very clean, lots of amenities, beautifully decorated. The location is fabulous! The view of the river was amazing, there was a bunch of stuff to do within walking distance, and it was very quiet, private, and peaceful. And then there's Perry....The best host I've ever dealt with! He helped me with recommendations a few days before we arrived, made sure we got in OK and that we had what we needed, and was very accommodating even right up to check-out. The 4 of us were completely overjoyed about the whole stay and we absolutely want to stay there again!

Overall it was a great stay! We knew this prior to arrival, but it’s worth noting that the level where you enter the residence has a good amount of steps in order to reach the main living area. We were in Lake City for a wedding so that meant armful’s of things up and back down the stairs. Just be careful! House was well stocked, clean and comfortable. The view of the lake from the residence was a bonus!
