Houseboat vacation rentals in Veluwe

Nous avons passé un très bon moment sur la péniche. Au milieu des oiseaux, elle est très bien aménagée. La route n'est pas loin mais on ne l'entend pas à l'intérieur et la vue sur Kampen est très jolie. On peut facilement aller à pied jusqu'à la ville. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Raoul mais l'organisation de l'arrivée et du départ était très fluide. Nous recommandons.

A unique experience to stay on a houseboat. We had everything we needed in the studio. Clear instructions inside. Coffee, tea and sugar provide. Loved watching the traffic on the Rhine! Very welcoming and responsive host. Would definitely stay again!

I really enjoyed my time on the houseboat. It is cosy and quite romantic. The only problem I had, was getting in and out of the shower. It is a bit of a tight squeeze and a big drop to the floor. So I hurt myself when using it. Apart from that, no other issues. Marco was available when I arrived at 1am to give me exact directions to the house boat over the phone. so that was good. Nice boat, nice location, nice owner, nice cats. I'd recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay at Marco's houseboat in September 2024. We had fantastic weather, which was a huge plus for us, and allowed us to take advantage of the veranda area, outside, where we could chill and watch the wildlife on the water. The accomodation is nice and simple, and tastefully decorated. It was comfortable and warm. We didn't need any heating during our stay, but there is a wood pellet heater available. The toilet and shower cubicles are quite small, but as you would expect on a houseboat, and it wasn't a problem for us. Sleeping consists of two compartments, a single berth and a double directly opposite. Both have a curtain for privacy. Both berths were comfortable. The location is about one mile away from the village centre, so about a 20 minute walk, or 5 minutes in the car. Great supermarket there, along with pizza place and other cafes and nice bars. Very chilled place. We loved our stay, and would consider visiting again.

We had a lovely stay in Raoul and Hester's place. The ark is moored in a quiet side channel of the Ijssel and therefore in extremely calm waters (no bow waves of passing craft). Many ducks, geese, swans and loads of other birds around enjoying the tranquil surroundings, as we did. Despite the out-of-the-way location, it's only a 10min stroll to Kampen - cross the bridge and you're basically right in the heart of the old city. Couple of decent eateries and pubs in a small area. The ark itelf is a little dated but well equipped and feels very homely. If you're going in winter, bring some wood to get that wood stove going and it'll be quite comfy in no-time. Everything works, nice double bed and good shower. Communication with Raoul and his parents-in-law excellent. Can't recommend enough if you're after some peace and tranquility.

Es ist ein so ungewöhnlicher Ort für einen Urlaub. Das lichtdurchflutete Hausboot gibt einem das Gefühl, mitten in der Natur sein. Schwäne, Gänse, Enten und Möwen begrüßen Dich jeden Tag. Auf der Dachterrasse kann man ganz wunderbar entspannen. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten wie Städtetrips nach Utrecht oder Amsterdam gibt es zu genüge. Die Umgebung ist hervorragend für Fahrradtouren geeignet. Wir sind vor Ort sehr freundlich begrüßt worden und haben alle wichtigen Einweisungen für das Hausboot vermittelt bekommen. In der Nähe ist ein tolles Restaurant, mit fröhlichen Angestellten, die den Restaurantbesuch zu etwas Besonderen machen! Es war ein tolles (Oster-) Wochenende und es wird sicher nicht das letzte sein.

Eine super schöne Unterkunft. Wir müssen häufig selber noch putzen, diesmal war es wirklich sauber! Ein wenig Spinnweben und die Möbel draußen waren nicht sauber. Was aber auch nicht schlimm ist, diese werden ja eh wieder schnell dreckig. Die Gegend war ebenfalls wundervoll. Es gibt vieles zu entdecken und auch für die Kleinen ist das nahe gelegene Hans & Gretje Pfannkuchenhaus sehe zu empfehlen. Ein wirklich schöner Urlaub!

Wir haben sehr schöne und ruhige Tage bei Patrizia verbracht. Perfekter Platz am Wasser, wunderschöne Sonnenaufgänge, alles da was man braucht. Kleiner HInweis: man kann vom Boot aus ins Wasser jedoch nicht mehr auf selbem Weg auf das Boot zurück. Man muss zum nahgelegenen Steg schwimmen - ist aber nur eine Sache der Bequemlichkeit :)

Wunderschönes Hausboot in ruhiger Lage. Hübsch und stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allem an Ausstattung, was zum täglichen Leben benötigt wird. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in max 5 Minuten mit dem Auto Erreichbar. Für unser Empfinden tolle Lage, weil weder Amsterdam, noch Rotterdam, usw. weit entfernt liegen. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen, wenn es uns Mal wieder in die Niederlande verschlägt.

Wir haben drei Nächte über Ostern im Hausboot von Mario gewohnt. Die Unterkunft war Dank klarer Anweisungen gut zu finden und wir konnten sogar früher Einchecken. Es war superruhig und doch nur ein kurzer Weg in die Stadt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

We loved this place! Being on the river was so fun - lots of boats going by. But it was also peaceful and private with a nice yard. Great storage for our bikes. The host was very helpful.
