Adorable Casita with Outdoor Entertainment

LoreRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed 18 days in John's place. The casita is very clean and has really everything you need. John and Jessica were easy on communication via airbnb. We especially liked the swimming pool at the casita, the proximity of the aquatic center and the endless safe biking options. There are lot of good restaurants nearby and the place is very quite. Thanks for having us!

David’s place was great. It appears to have been designed and arranged by his father, and architect who had interesting and eclectic taste. The space was as described and included very cool art and spaces. We enjoyed our stay atDavid‘s place!

Midtown Casita Oasis

DanielleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay - it was exactly what we needed! Hosts were quick with communication and offered suggestions for places to eat when we inquired (Le Buzz was fantastic for bfast). There’s an authentic tortillas spot just 5 minute walk from house as well. Overall, Tucson is not walkable so I would highly suggest a rental car. The Airbnb was a lovely lil home to come back to after a day out and about exploring, very relaxing, especially lounging by the pool.

Wholesome Desert Guest Suite

HollyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The place was exactly as described: peaceful, beautiful, and the kitchen was well stocked! My husband and I felt right at home. Teresa and Dan were very welcoming, and they offered great suggestions on where to eat and what to see. If you're a hiker/runner, there's a bonanza of great trails within a few miles of their place, and a book filled with suggestions and directions. If you're a homebody, enjoy your coffee in the swing on the porch and make sure to enjoy the sunsets.

Casita near the U of A and Himmel Park

MargaretRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Alan’s home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked. The location was convenient on a bus line, next to a nice park and right across the street from a local bike share station. I appreciated that they thought of all the little details- enough towels, super comfy bed and sheets, accessible laundry and a yoga mat too. We appreciated the ease of check in and responsiveness of the hosts. Would definitely stay again!

Upstairs Corner Casita w/ incredible sunset views.

DonaldRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had rented the place for my sister visiting from out of state, she was very impressed with my choice, especially the art work. I was impressed with the ease of cancelling the last two days because she needed to leave early. Ronald and Airbnb made it painless. Vistoso Casitas Resort is my go to place when visitors come to town because I don't have the extra room at my home. I have always received accolades from them on my choice. I will be back!

Sabino Canyon View Condo 3/2

ErickRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had an amazing time with my parents at Darrell's condo. It was spotless, well equipped and located in a great spot near Sabino Canyon. The live music, just a stone's throw away at Three Canyons, was a ton a fun and I would recommend it after spending the day exploring the desert around Tucson.

Your guide to Tucson

All About Tucson

This city in the Sonoran Desert attracts visitors hoping to enjoy its impressive 350 days of sun each year. Tucson's picturesque surroundings include the basalt hill known as Sentinel Peak, from which the name Tucson was derived, as well as many of the iconic saguaro cacti — both in and out of the nearby national park named for them. Outdoor lovers flock to the park to hike, bike, and admire the scenery, as well as to Sabino Canyon and Mount Lemmon. Northern Tucson suburbs like Oro Valley and Catalina Foothills boast world-class golf courses and tend to make great bases for visitors.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Tucson

Tucson stakes its reputation on the year-round sunshine, which rarely lets visitors down. The hot summers — with temperatures consistently topping out at over 100 degrees Fahrenheit — does come with the occasional late-summer storm. But when even the nights stay fairly warm (low temperatures average above 70 degrees in summer), a little rain is a relief. Fall and spring tend to be sunny with warm days and nights, while winters stay fairly mild, with temperatures that only occasionally dip below freezing and daytime highs that still average around 70 degrees. More than anything, the important thing to remember about Tucson’s climate is the intense sun — which means packing plenty of sunscreen and sunglasses.

Top things to do in Tucson

Saguaro National Park

More than 100 miles of hiking trails snake around the two sections of Saguaro National Park, which straddles the city of Tucson. The Rincon Mountain District, to the east, sits in the high, wet landscape called “sky islands” and features tons of wildlife. To the west of town, the Tucson Mountain District includes the Signal Hill Petroglyphs and shows off large stands of the iconic cactus from which the park takes its name.

Catalina Foothills

Edging up against the Santa Catalina Mountains, this northern suburb gives visitors easy access to the Coronado National Forest and Catalina State Park, both quite popular for hiking, biking, birding, and horseback riding. The neighborhood also plays host to many of the area’s luxury tourist amenities like spas and golf courses.

Sabino Canyon Recreation Area

This canyon has been closed to private vehicles for decades. However, if you want to check out Sabino Canyon’s steep cliffs, desert vegetation, and (from afar) desert creatures such as Gila Monsters and bobcats, you can ride in a free, open-air Sabino Canyon or Bear Canyon shuttles (or bike after 5pm).
