Enjoy the peaceful warmth of Noonameena, our 'bush resting place'. 'Noons' is a straw bale luxury home on 20 acres of rural land, river views, easy access to Lake Eppalock and the Heathcote wine region.

'Noons' was built adopting Passive House principles which offers comfortable temperatures all year round, clean, fresh and filtered air throughout the home and is clean, calm and comfortable backdrop for your special stay.

Kids are welcome as are your furry 4 legged friends.

The space
'Noons' has been built adopting the energy efficient Passive House principles which means you will enjoy clean, fresh, natural air and stable comfortable temperatures throughout the home. Additional heating and cooling is typically not required in our home which is ventilated 24/7 via a ducted heat recovery system.

A Passive home is a particularly comfortable place to be with ours being whisper quiet due to its rural location and thick straw bale external walls.

Each bedroom has views of the water and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding country side.

No breakfast is provided, you are welcome to bring your own food and use the full kitchen and cooking facilities with plenty of fridge space available. Coffee is provided both decaf and 'normal' (real) Nespresso pods. If you are prolific coffee drinkers please bring extras of your own choice.

Guest access
You can book one or both bedrooms. The base price (for 1 or two people) includes exclusive access to the home and one bedroom. Note: to be clear if you book for two people the booking system will book one room only. If you want both rooms please book for 3 or 4 people. The extra bedroom price is based on number of extra guests and attracts an extra price. Feel free to seek clarification if this is unclear.

Access is provided via electronic pin codes for the gate and front door of the home which will be provided once you have confirmed the details of the booking.

Access to the lake is via locked gate and 4wd or walking track. Plenty of parking for boats and jet skis if the lake is your target. Please do not use the pontoon, boat of canoe. Our insurance does not cover their use by guests.

We have a large dog enclosure at the rear of house for your furry friends who are welcome inside as long as they stay off the beds and furniture (please bring own bedding).

BBQ facilities are available on request.

Other things to note
A split aircon system is available servicing the main living, dining and kitchen area together with a very efficient wood fire in the main living area. Ceiling fans are in every room and with insect screens on all openings throughout out the home (except the front and back doors).

Please take care around the home at all times as there are many rocks and slopes to navigate off the 'beaten track' as well as our 4 legged lawn mowers (Dorper Sheep) and other country critters.

Pool is available all year round but only heated during months September to April.

Access to the property is via bitumen road (10 minutes) from the Redesdale Pub with a ~400 metre gravel driveway to the home. Plenty of parking is available with two spots under cover.

We are in a rural area with no neighbours to be seen or heard.
