Vacation rentals in Antigua and Barbuda

Two couples in our early ‘60’s. We loved the villa. Great location in English harbour! Private. We loved the pool and deck area and al fresco dining. Beautiful gardens, hummingbirds, geckos, an Iguana sighting! Lap pool excellent as was the yoga studio and the great quality yoga mats . We didn’t meet Aidan but Fiona was so excellent in checking in with us. Making sure we were happy. We love to cook and the kitchen was great for that. And the bbq too. Thank you for a great stay.

Our stay at Greenheart Villa in Antigua was truly unforgettable. The villa offers breathtaking views, making every moment feel like a slice of paradise. Miss Brenda was an absolute gem—so lovely and sweet that she felt like part of the family. The host was incredibly accommodating, always available to answer any and all of our questions, ensuring we had everything we needed. The villa itself is beautifully maintained, with every detail carefully thought out to make guests feel at home. We were so comfortable during our stay that it felt like our very own piece of heaven. If you're looking for a place that combines stunning scenery with warm hospitality, Greenheart Villa is the perfect choice. We can't wait to return!

We stayed at Shaquilles place in November for 10 days and all I can say is that we've had a very positive experience. Shaquille has been very responsive and helpful from the moment we made the booking queries to when we arrived . The property matched the description and is conveniently located to St John's. On our arrival day, we managed to get to the house late in the afternoon and didn't know the area at all. Shaquille offered to take us to the supermarket and to get some food for dinner later that evening. We had a very pleasant evening. He even helped us with the smallest things like suggesting places to go visit, restaurants etc. Shaquille was also very kind to help us with some laundry. On our last evening in Antigua, we were treated to some lovely home cooked dinner by our lovely host and the famous black pineapple. If we were to visit Antigua again, we will happily stay at Shaquilles place.

We arri ved super late due to airline delays. we were met at the door by the owner who imediately took our luggage and brought us to our room. because it was getting late, he checked to make sure we were ok and had food which we did not. he immediately took it upon himself to call a place not far from him, gave us the menu choices, and then went to pick it up for us. that was incredibly kind and will not soon be forgotten. the room was clean, and quiet. great ac and nice thought to providing things a traveler would need. the pool area was super nice and a great place to have our morning coffee.

Don't let the house rules scare you, once you're accustom to caring and respecting homes like its your own you would have absolutely no issues. 5 stars for Jamila's communication she is an excellent host. The house was perfect everything you need the beds were super comfy. The beach by Sandals was less than 5 mins drive and perfect for relaxing. The area is super safe. would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Carina and her husband Daniel are like family… this was my fourth time in Antigua but my 3rd time staying at this property (wasn’t available for booking the 2nd time around). As long as I come back to Antigua I know I have a dependable home to return to. Everything was top notch… views and breeze was phenomenal. Absolutely no complaints except that I can’t bring this home with me back to the states.

Natasha was amazing! She was the reason I picked this location and she did not disappoint. As a solo traveler who was staying for 3 weeks, it was so helpful to have a local friend to help me navigate my time in Antigua. She made great recommendations for beaches and food. She was always responsive to any request or need. She truly went above and beyond, helping me celebrate my birthday in style, driving me to local places, dropping me off for my one day cruise to Barbuda. With regards to the location, I did go in low season so it was very quiet but this is what I wanted. The place itself could use a few upgrades like replacing the rusted fixtures in the bathroom and updating to the furniture but it was perfect for my purposes. Lastly, Natasha helped arrange a rental with Jerry. My advice is to be specific regarding the type of vehicle you want. The roads are rough and a 4X4 is a must. Natasha was a god-send and I know my stay in Antigua would not have been the same without her!

Cannot say enough great things about this stunning property. The bed was very comfortable and there is endless hot water which can be a challenge in the Caribbean. It’s located on top of a hill overlooking the sea and was very private and secure. The views were gorgeous and the house had everything we needed. The pool and outdoor shower (try it!) were used daily. Excellent AirCon. The property manager Kevin lives a few houses down and greeted us on check-in—he was super helpful and gave us lots of information about the island. The owner—also a Kevin—was extremely communicative and set up a text group when we arrived in case we needed anything. I highly recommend renting the car they have available—very spacious and good gas mileage—-we drove all over the island all week and it was handy to just keep the beach chairs and umbrella in the back and throw the cooler in every day. Deep Bay Beach is extremely close to the house and beautiful—very private and quiet. Would 100% book this again.

Enjoyed my stay here for my birthday. Host was very communicative, quick responses, provided recommendations on places to go and things to do as well as some instructions for the home. We knew the location was out of the way and we did not have a car of our own, so getting around we had to utilize taxi's which add up but you get to see the beautiful area and experience their roads lol. Host connected us to Randy, a driver who was on point and always available. Stock up on groceries if you dont plan to leave the house too often. BRING TONS OF BUG SPRAY. There are candles and coils to keep the insects away but they loved biting regardless so make sure you have handy. The pool was my favorite. The views amazing. Their co-host Melody took care of check in and check out during my stay and she was amazing. Even ran into her once while out close by. Great place to stay if you want to be a little secluded and have space to yourself. The gardener & pool guy stopped by, very nice n efficient.

The pictures do not do this place justice! It is FAR more beautiful in person. The place felt like home and was comfortable! We were greeted by Elinor and she gave us a walk through and was available throughout our stay. We had no problems being in this space and I am glad we chose this and that Elinor has allowed us to enjoy this space. Also the view? Chef’s kiss. Great space and an even greater host.

We didn’t want to leave! We loved staying in the private hideaway and having our own pool to cool off in was just perfect. We found the island safe to explore and the locals friendly. The hosts were super welcoming and informative. We would definitely go back.

Marsha was the best host to have to celebrate my 30th Birthday and first time in Antigua . She was very friendly, responsive and helpful when it came to traveling around the island and providing us with helpful instructions . She was available for anything I needed to make my trip memorable and THAT IT WAS ! Although the home is located about 30 mins from town Marsha can provide you with transportation services , excursions & etc. Restaurants, supermarket , beach and other resorts are also walking distance from the home which was very convenient. The home was beautiful and looks just like the pictures . The pool was great and perfectly maintained . This place is a MUST STAY !

Carib House was a wonderful retreat for our family trip. The house was laid out in a way that was conducive to family time yet also allowed private time. The views are stunning. The kitchen was well equipped (loved the cookware) and we were able to eat in quite a bit. Lou was extremely helpful with information about local activities. And when Tropical Storm Ernesto came through our last day she was available to help us know what to do to ride it out. The maid service was so lovely....it really enabled us to enjoy our vacation even more. Do not hesitate to stay at Carib House. We will definitely stay again when we next visit!

100% reccomend. The villa itself is beautiful. Very secluded and private, not at all over looked. Stunning views of the sea. Everything was exactly how you see in the photos & better! You will definitely need a car, a 4x4 as the roads in Antigua are very rocky. Lots of lovely beaches and supermarkets within a 10 minute drive. The locals are very friendly. The host is extremely helpful. She gave us many tips and recommendations. Check-in was very straightforward, villa was unlocked on arrival. Met host the following day, she is very friendly and easy to get on with. Antigua is a beautiful Island with lots to see and do. This is the perfect base to explore the whole island from. We hope to stay again in the future :)

Sonja is a very hospitable host with immense local knowledge to answer all your questions. Excellent jeeps for hire too to allow more mobility around the lovely island. You better like cute little dogs to welcome you on your return to your chalet and tree frogs nicely serenading you at night as they are a plenty!

Gerard is amazing, very helpful and always responsive. pick and drop off from the airport was a plus. Room looks just like the photo and the view is beautiful. restaurants are walking distance from the house about 12mins, I would recommend a rental car due to the hills. i will definitely be back 🙌🏾 if anyone like to visit Antigua, this place is definitely the place to be.

Great host, very peaceful l, clean and tidy. Everything that’s recommended for a home was available. Host was very responsive. The area was quite and lovely. Privacy was given and entire place was clean. Highly recommended.

Positives - A lovely apartment. Pictures as shown in advert. Enjoyed swimming each morning in the beautiful sea, the beach was just stunning. Enjoyed seeing all the birds around the complex. The apartment had everything you needed and the bed was very comfortable. Gayle was very communicative. No negatives really - just that the local shop doesn't really stock much, so if you haven't hired a car you will struggle to get provisions. There was one restaurant next door but you would need a taxi to get to others. On the whole, a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend.

My husband & I stayed at Juliet and Leon’s Airbnb for 7 nights. It is located in the country and about 10 minutes away from Jolly Harbour by car where there are several restaurants and one of the best supermarkets on the island. There is also a supermarket just down the road if need be. I love the location, very quiet, even have local cattle grazing near by. The one bedroom suite is very quaint. Very comfortable bed, good shower, small combined sitting area with a gas stove up, microwave, washer & dryer. If you looking for a pool or ocean view this is not for you but beaches are close by. It’s very good babe. I can’t say enough about Juliet, she is a wonderful host and ensures that you have everything you need. We even exchanged recipes. Now I know what to do with salt fish and plantains!! The suite was perfect for us. We will definitely be back.
