Managing a listing is one of the most essential parts of hosting because it’s how guests learn about your home. We’ve seen that listings with more details can get up to 20% more bookings. But many listings are missing details guests care about because adding them has been too difficult.

That’s why we’re introducing the Listings tab—a set of new tools that let you easily manage your listing and showcase the details of your home.

Here are the key features of the new Listings tab:

  • Listing editor makes it easy to add details about your listing—including amenities, sleeping arrangements, and more. The redesigned interface also makes it simple to edit the arrival information guests need before check-in.
  • AI-powered photo tour helps you instantly create a photo tour of your listing. It organizes photos by room to help guests understand the layout of your home. You can edit your photo tour at any time and add amenities to each room.
  • Smart lock integration enables you to connect compatible smart locks to your Airbnb account and automatically generate a unique code for each reservation.

Getting started with the Listings tab

Tap the Listings tab at the center of your navigation bar. Now you’re in the Listing editor. This redesigned tool streamlines how you add information to your listing and provides tips on the best ways to display the details.

The Listing editor is divided into two sections:

  • Your space is where you manage your listing page and add details about your home.

  • Arrival guide is where you add the details guests need before they check in.

Your space

This is where you’ll add details about your home, like your listing title, description, and amenities.

Adding amenities
It’s now easier than ever to add amenities to your listing. Go to Amenities and tap the plus sign (+). You can view nearly 150 amenities alphabetically or by category, including Entertainment, Family, and Outdoor. You can also search for an amenity by name—no scrolling required. Select the plus sign next to any feature your home has.

Creating a photo tour
High-quality photos are one of the most important parts of a great listing. They capture guests’ attention and can help attract more bookings.

You can use the new AI-powered photo tour to instantly organize your listing photos into a photo tour to help guests understand the layout of your home. All you need to do is tap Create your photo tour. That’s it.

The custom AI engine recognizes interior and exterior photos and automatically assigns each image to one of 19 types of rooms and spaces.

Next, you can add details to each room. For example, you can add that the bedroom has a king-size bed or the living room has a TV. You can also include information about accessibility features, following these guidelines.

You’re able to edit your photo tour at any time by removing, moving, or adding photos. After you’re finished editing, preview your listing by tapping the View button.

Arrival guide

This is where you’ll add the details that guests need after they book and before they arrive, like check-in time and any special directions or parking instructions. And for the first time, you’ll be able to see your arrival information exactly as your guests do. Just tap the View button.

Providing check-in details
With the Arrival guide, you can easily share check-in details with guests after they book. You can set or adjust your check-in method and time, directions, house manual, wifi password, and more—all in one place.

Connecting your smart lock
You’ll soon be able to connect a smart lock to your Airbnb account and automatically generate a unique door code for every reservation. No more manually changing codes between bookings.

Guests will find the code in their reservation details on Airbnb, along with details on how to enter it. They’ll also receive their door code in an email right after they book, and they’ll get a notification when it’s time to check in. Each code is only active during the guest’s stay. Codes expire 30 minutes after checkout unless you manually adjust this timing for your guests.

Smart lock integration will begin rolling out in early 2024 to Hosts with listings in the U.S. and Canada and certain locks from Schlage. When it’s available in your location, you’ll find it under Check-in method. Simply follow the instructions for connecting your home’s smart lock to your Airbnb listing.
