We enjoyed our stay at the Nook & Cranny! Place was very clean & although dogs are welcome you couldn’t tell or smell dogs have stayed here-huge plus for me! The place was very comfortable & peaceful. You have to come see the beautiful view, it’s amazing! Perfect place to unwind & relax! Definitely would love to visit again!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay! We were in Bandera for a rodeo and was looking for a place to stay where we could keep our horses. Nancys place was fabulous! Everything was extremely clean and well kept, the house was even more charming than it looked in the pictures, and to make it even better (if possible) there were fresh baked cookies on the counter when we arrived! She had everything you could need! Nancy and her daughter were so kind and welcoming that made us feel right at home. If you are looking for a place to stay with horses this spot is perfect! The barn and feed troughs were clean and sanitized and the stalls were spotless! They even had a fan in the barn for the horses. The property is absolutely beautiful, you cross a creek and pull into the most well manicured hay field with panoramic views that make you never want to leave. So quiet and peaceful! We could not have asked for a better place to stay! We will most definitely be back!!

Daniela was a wonderful host, and we appreciate her accommodating us on such short notice! Her place is cozy, spacious, peaceful, and relaxing and was perfect for our family getaway in Bandera. It is in a convenient location being away from the hustle and bustle, yet also close to town. The beautiful windows in the house help show off the amazing view!

Very quiet. There were neighbors but we never heard or saw them and not visible from the property. Went for walks that were almost hikes. Very nice country side. I loved the road getting there. It was a twisty turny road. That was fun to drive. Out of the Way Cafe has a great breakfast and also ate at the 4 Way bar and grill which was good. The house had everything we needed. Had a big hawk that flew over quite often and seen a roadrunner and a few deer on the road. Drove into San Antonio one day but had the best time in Boerne on Main Street.

This is our third time staying at Rick’s and we absolutely love it. The views from the hill are captivating. The property is beautiful and fun to traipse around on. You get the quiet and seclusion of the countryside but it’s an easy drive down to the wineries or into Comfort. Rick is also very responsive and helpful.
