The Lake Cottage - a family-friendly getaway!

Great little place for a fun summer getaway for 2 families! The place has all the kitchen equipment and linens/towels you will need (but remember to bring your own toiletries), and the place is cozy and well setup for hanging out with kids. The dining table is very large so it’s perfect for family-style dinners. The location of the cottage within the complex is a bit further from the beach than some of the other cottages, but totally fine for walking down to the beach with a few things. However, if you have a lot of beach equipment and floaties, it’s better to drive them down to the drop off location near the beach. Our kids loved the bicycles and mini kayaks provided by the owners, which was such a bonus! And the pool/hot tub/gym is a great amenity that was enjoyed by all of us. All of the people in the complex seemed super friendly; lots of kids and families around. Lastly, the location is near some amazing wineries so that was very convenient as well! We loved it.

Super cute, beautifully redone home walking distance to the lake and downtown. We felt very comfortable and right at home. We were happy to discover this area is known for Pinot noir so did some tastings, which were delicious. Also went Nordic skiing and lots of hiking with our two dogs. The house was very well stocked with many basic things in the pantry and condiments in the fridge. The yard is not fully fenced as there are tight rose bushes on one side so if your dog is an escape artist make sure to review before leaving them alone in the yard. Great restaurants too! Within walking distance and a dog park on the water right in town. Bryce was super responsive with any question. Would definitely book again.

Wonderful place to stay with beautiful views of the lake. Very spacious bedrooms, super comfortable beds and bonus ensuite for each of the bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the swim spa and hammocks with the view! Very clean and comfortable. Lisa was very responsive to my questions and we had a great stay. Highly recommend!
