Vacation rentals in Kalapaki Beach

Location was great. Walking distance to a grocery store and easy access to Hanalei Bay; our favorite beach. Views were spectacular and morning walks along the golf course were nice. The condo is stocked with beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear and boogie boards. Kitchen is well stocked and the unit is close to the pool/bbq. Would definitely stay here again.

Such a beautiful place the enjoy Kauai. Well equipped with everything we needed to head to the beach or stay in to grill. The pool was a perfect oasis to rest and plan the day. We took advantage of the pickle ball court as well! The placement of the condo was perfect to enjoy the ocean view, pool access, grill and the gate leading to walkways and the sunset view. We'll be back!

LOVED this place! Great location and stunning views from the lanai! We watched whales playing (bring binoculars) and surfers catching waves, morning and evening. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets too. The condo is just lovely, newly renovated, and had a nicely stocked kitchen. Beach chairs, umbrella, a cooler and plenty of towels made our beach adventures comfortable. My husband and I slept comfortably in the downstairs bedroom and so enjoyed listening to the surf lull us to sleep every night. A few FYIs: The bedrooms each have just two king sized pillows. The four of us wanted some standard sized pillows too, so we just purchased some inexpensive ones at Costco in Lihue. While my husband and I found the condo quite comfortable with just the windows and patio doors open, the other couple in our party found the condo unbearably hot, especially the upstairs bedroom which didn’t cool down until very, very late at night. If you absolutely need AC, this might not be the place for you.

My husband and I stayed at Larry’s place for a week of our honeymoon and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The beach within walking distance was one of our favorites on the island! There are lots of restaurants just a 5 min walk away! It’s a great spot to stay to get around the island and very close to Costco and shops. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships come into the port everyday. The unit itself is as pictured. There are quite a few steps up to the unit but totally doable for the average person. The apartment was very tidy and it was really nice Larry supplied shampoo/conditioner/body wash/laundry detergent! Thanks for a great stay!

Great location right across from Poipu beach with views of the beach and ocean. The place was clean and we had no issues during the stay. Would absolutely stay here again.

The property is fantastic. It is a quiet neighborhood of houses and condos super close to Poipu beach. There was plenty of nearby parking. A/C blows cold when we needed a break from the sun and heat. Amenities as described. The photos were accurate. The balcony is a pleasant place to have morning coffee and listen to the local birds.. We enjoyed the spacious layout of the property for my wife and I, and our three teenagers. Nathan was great as our host. We had a small issue getting the TV to work and Nathan was quick to respond and direct us how to use the cable tv app. (User error on our part). Nathan provided some good local recommendations. We had a great time! Thank you!!

We had an amazing stay. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer! Mariah, Dani, and Juan were so welcoming. The house was perfect, and the location was ideal. We walked to get coffee and breakfast in the mornings, went to the farmers market on Wednesday night (get there early for the Sugarloaf Pineapples!), and strolled down the road to beautiful beaches and hiking trails. Lovely neighborhood with respectful neighbors. The hosts shared great recommendations, even for us who’ve spent a lot of time in Kauai. What a fantastic find! Last minute work/ visit to see friends and family. Heather and Mindy were quick to respond and communicated really well. We appreciated the communication and details. The condo itself was easy to find, and easy to check in. We loved the vibe and the comfort of the condo. Everything was spotless clean and the condo really feels like a home. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking oils, spices, dishes, etc. We really appreciated the cold filtered water in the Brita pitcher in the fridge when we arrived. The complex is a bit dated, but this unit was great! The pools were nice and the condo is located less than a block from shopping, restaurants and a market. The drug store is about 2 blocks in the other direction and Safeway is just a short drive away with other shops and dining options. The complex is also located just a short (less than 3 minute walk) from the walking path which is approx 7+ miles long. You can walk along the ocean into Kapaʻa town or to one of the many beaches. 5*
