Beautiful Home and very responsive host

What an incredible stay! Elin and her husband Hans were absolutely amazing. This was our first time in Lofoten and Hans helped us find everything in the house, made sure we were safe, and even helped us to filet a fish we bought from a local fisherman! One evening after a long hike, we came back to a tray of homemade cinnamon rolls baked by Elin that were some of the best I've had. Super clean, cozy and affordable house and the hosts' hospitality is incredible! Staying in Hans and Elin's place made this trip unforgettable.

Wow, what an incredible experience. All the comfort and modern luxury set amongst the harsh environment makes for memories that will last a very long time. Our entire family enjoyed our stay immensely. Everything about the accommodation was very well thought out, practical, modern, comfortable, fully equipped and visually stunning. Credit to Cato & Solveig for putting so much love and effort into turning this piece of history into something that anyone who cares to visit to enjoy. The were lovely hosts to interact with. Thank You for the experience. We would love to come back.

We adored Calum's house. As soon as we walked in, we felt at home. Calum provides everything you need and more for a stay in Lofoten. The house is well made, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. Hands down, our favorite aspect of the house was the hammock for lounging! The beds are very comfortable and we got great sleep. We also loved watching the birds at the feeders out of the kitchen window. The neighborhood was quiet and we took nice walks around and out to the jetty by the Norwegian Sea. Additionally we took a snowshoe with Paul from Polar Folk, a friend of Calum's, and we had an incredible time with our 8 year old. Thanks again for an unforgettable stay at your home. As our daughter said, it was worth taking three planes to get there!

Dear Kenneth, thank you again for hosting us. We enjoyed our stay at Kenneth s house. We (6 people) spent there 9 nights, exploring Lofoten by car and ski mountaineering. Conditions are changing fast. The house is lovely, has a nice view and not far from Svolvaer by car. Kitchen is well equiped, nice living rooms and space for dining. Das Häuschen ist wunderbar gelegen, mit herrlicher Aussicht auf den Borgfjord. Wir haben noch in keinem AirBnB eine so toll eingerichtete Küche vorgefunden. Perfekt für Selberkocher, wie wir es waren. Auch die Stube ist hyggelig und warm. Leif war sehr hilfsbereit und hat immer sofort geantwortet. Etwas Vorsicht ist vor dem bösen Nachbarn geboten 😀.

Rigtig fint sted. Lejligheden er faktisk flottere end hvad billederne viser. Vi sov der en enkelt nat - og alt var lige som det skulle være.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans le logement de Henny Karoline, et c’était un plaisir. L’appartement était extrêmement propre, et bien rangé. Il dispose de tout le nécessaire et la place de parking est un plus. Je recommande fortement.

If you’re thinking of getting aurora tours, just get Rita’s guesthouse instead. It was super clean and cozy, and we saw the aurora for both nights!! Definitely will stay again if we ever visit Gimsøysand!

Lovely place, feels very spacious and homey, has everything you need to be cozy and to make home cooked meals. Would recommend!

Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war gemütlich eingerichtet und war einladend warm als wir ankamen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, direkt in der Nähe gibt es einen Supermarkt, der viel Auswahl hat. Da wir ohnehin mit dem Auto unterwegs waren, war es die perfekte Lage für uns. Alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Die Küche war für den täglichen Bedarf sehr gut ausgestattet.

Totally love it! Natalie’s house is just 10 mins away from the port (the pick-up point for lots of tours) and only 4 mins away from the supermarket. It’s so convenient to go everywhere! And her place is well-equipped and super clean. We can easily cook ourselves in the kitchen and find everything we need there. Highly recommended!

Our stay was really nice. The apartment was clean, calm and very cosy. We even saw the northern lights from the balcony. Thanks for everything! We would definetely come back!

Martin's place is one of the best AirBnBs we have stayed at. It is spacious, tastefully furnished, comfortable and clean. Big windows open to breathtaking view of lake and mountains. When the night is clear with full moon and northern light, as we were fortunate to experience, it is an unforgettable sight. Location is convenient to visit all of Lofoten islands. Martin was responsive and courteous. We hope to come back some day!

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit Sicht auf die Hafeneinfahrt und die Ankunft der Hurtigrutenschiffe. Öffentliche Sauna gleich nebenan, bestes Restaurant von Nordnorwegen ca 20 Minuten zu Fuss.

Siamo stati per 5 bellissimi giorni in questo rorbu. Spazioso, pulito, ordinato, con una vista bellissima sia dal soggiorno che dalle camere. Incantevole. La località è molto tranquilla e comoda sia per l'aeroporto che per visitare tutte le isole. Anita è sempre stata molto gentile e disponibile.

I stayed in several places during my trip across Norway, but this Airbnb in Svolvær was by far the best experience I had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just perfect. It felt instantly safe, warm, and homey, which is rare to find. What made this stay truly unforgettable was our host. He was so present, kind, and generous, sharing local tips, stories, and our passion for photography. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, observe splendid auroras from the backyard and feel truly welcomed, this is the one. Skvělé ubytování, hostitelka se vším pomohla a poradila, je velmi milá. Toto ubytování můžeme doporučit.

Sehr schöne und moderne Unterkunft! Nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Henningsvær Stadion entfernt, ins Zentrum läuft man etwas weiter. Das Auto kann man jedoch auch direkt vor der Türe parken! Die einzige Kritik wäre, dass die Balkontür etwas klemmt und der Thermostat im Schlafzimmer nichts angezeigt hat (dadurch konnten wir es nicht tiefer stellen, es war sehr warm). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
