Café del Jardín - p1

LauraRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Staying in a coffee finca is original and the experience was up to par, especially combined with a guided tour. Great hosting, Wilson picked me up at the bus stop after explaining how to get there; the room was large and clean with bathroom area and everything you need for a night, and waking up to birdsong and views of the hills and coffee plantations around is very nice! Don't forget to bring food, especially if you don't have a car, as there is no village within walking distance! Cooking is available on-site. And providing a flashlight/headlamp can be very useful

Room in Finca Carrizales

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I could not have had a more lovely two days staying with Imelda and Don Jaime on Finca Carrizales. From the moment my friend and made it to the farm, we were welcomed to their beautiful oasis with open arms. The finca is beautifully perched on the mountain, with stunning views and enough ecological wonder to keep you entertained forever. We wish we could have stayed a week! We rode horses through the fog-covered Andes, toured the organic coffee farm, ate delicious meals prepared by Imelda and Manuela, and felt right at home. One day we were excited to see bees, so Imelda contacted a neighboring finca and hiked with us to their neighbor's house for a tour of the neighbor's beehives. It is difficult to find such an enchanting place that retains it's charm and welcomes you into the fold of their ecotourism experience, without being overrun by people and the experience cheapening as a result. This place, and these people, are special. You will not regret staying at Finca Carrizales.

Incredible Colombian Coffee farm stay #1 of #3

DimitriRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Finca Milena is nestled in the hills overlooking Jardin. The view is magnificent, the scenery is beautiful, and the cabin is rustic and charming. William was very responsive and accommodating, and Fanny was a wonderful on-site host who cooked delicious meals and was helpful in making local arrangements. I was able to work from the cabin with consistent wifi, there is a small kitchenette for cooking at home, and the living space is comfortable with couch and chairs. Amazing vibe and experience. A few good things to know going in: it’s removed from town - cost us 25,000 pesos and about 15 min to get to or from Jardin. The cabin is rustic feeling: openings in the structure joints, bug nets around the beds, and a finicky hot water shower. The no-see-um bugs were also pretty present, especially in the morning and evening, though that was true most places. Desk was a fold out table and plastic chair. All of that was part of the charm. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

This is the second time I've stayed at this property, and every time I return to the southwest I'll always choose to stay here. It's a magical and quiet place, with spectacular landscapes. Don Wilson is a quality person who makes you feel right at home, and he also offers the best and most complete coffee tour and recommends places to visit

Natalia's finca is a little paradise! Her garden and the environment are so beautiful and the house is do welcoming. The rooms are very nice and I also loved the hummingbirds in the garden! A very welcoming atmosphere! When I arrived, I was offered a coffee immediately, and Natalia also organised two trips for me, which were both wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Spacious and well-maintained accommodation, surrounded by fields of coffee, bananas and other fruit trees, hammocks, a swing, a beautiful outdoor table to feel very good, a beautiful view of Jardin and its beautiful church. A soothing environment. We managed to get there by car but you need to have suitable tires. A very nice visit also of the coffee production of Carolina's family.

Margus Rooms at Finca Cafetera

KimRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Marta’s home on a stunning mountainside with gorgeous views! We are so glad that we decided to make this our homebase and visit Jardin and the surrounding area for hikes, wandering town or for meals. Marta and family are lovely people and we felt so welcomed immediately. Staying at their finca, where they grow coffee and so many kinds of fruit, is a lovely way to learn more about Colombian culture. We balanced our time hanging out at the house and having some meals there with going into Jardín and hiking the area. It is worth knowing that Gustavo, Marta’s husband, is available to pick you up and bring you to/from town for a fee; he is an expert at navigating the steep and sometimes muddy road to their home. That in itself is a memorable adventure in his jeep from the 1950’s! We also got to practice our Spanish and their youngest daughter (who is was delightful) practiced her English with us. We can’t wait to return.
An outdoor terrace is presented featuring a wooden table and benches, surrounded by lush greenery. Potted plants hang from the ceiling, while mountains are visible in the distance. Light illuminates the space, enhancing the natural elements and inviting seating arrangements.

Cabaña Manzana, Jardín Antioquia (Antioquia Garden)

GeimerRating, 5 stars22 months ago
The place meets all the expectations and services offered, very clean, very well cared for, the two hosts are very friendly and attentive to what we needed, such as firewood for the fire pit, barbecue and utensils. Communication was very fast, both electronic and personal. They recommended other activities offered in the area. In confusion, everything was excellent, we had a very nice and pleasant stay, recommended for everyone.
