Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Imouzzer Kandar

This is a unique house created with intelligence and love. On the edge of the Fes medina it’s close to the buzz but far enough to be peaceful. We stayed 3 weeks in January with no need for a car. We had full sun and blue skies except for 1 day. We swam in the beautiful big pool everyday ( it was very cold, we are from northern Europe). It was chilly before 10am and after 6pm but the terrace and garden get plenty of sun. The bedrooms are all a generous size. Only 3 are en-suite. The dining room and communal lounge were a squeeze for our party of 9, it would be easier to enjoy the house on warmer days. This is a home not an hotel and more relaxed for it. Sanae the manager of the house is a warm, kind person we had the privilege to meet. She made us soup and prescribed cures for aches and pains. The memory of the beautiful garden, lemon trees, orange trees, olives and cacti will keep us warm for the rest of our winter.

What a lovely welcoming place this is! We had the chance of meeting Anne and Ian, who are wonderful hosts and who had so much to share with us. Not only did they sent us a guide to the city before our arrival but they were always available to answer our questions and make useful suggestions. Ian made us a delicious breakfast every morning with fresh orange juice, homemade jams and different kinds of moroccan bread. The house is beautiful, every single corner is tastefully made and makes you feel at home, the bedrooms are spacious and the terrace has a great view on the city. And we really enjoyed being around the 4 cats.. it was difficult to say goodbye!

Before we even arrived at our Riad, Mohammad was in touch with us, arranging a driver for our pickup. His sister then guided us to our Airbnb, and from the very start, everyone was incredibly welcoming. Mohammad also organized a guided tour for us, making our day perfectly planned. Nabila’s cooking was exceptional—out of our entire stay in Morocco, we couldn’t find food as delicious as hers. The Riad itself was absolutely beautiful. If I ever visit Morocco again, I would definitely choose to stay at their place!

“Best place we’ve ever stayed” - my 15 year old twins. The word magical gets thrown around too much but that’s what this is. Beautiful and authentic with all the modern touches for a 5* experience (eg heated floors in the bathrooms). And the location in the heart of the medina is perfect. Zahrae, our concierge, is simply awesome. Always available, proactive and friendly. Same goes for Hensae and Zakaria. Thank you again for an unforgettable 2 days.

Très belle expérience chez Driss. Un séjour qui a été ressourçant et reposant. Le calme et la quiétude qu’offre la villa est exactement ce que nous recherchions. Avec un intérieur tres propre et bien agencé, et un extérieur vaste, naturel et bien entretenu. Sans parler de la vue et de la piscine, qui a su faire le bonheur de nos enfants. Si vous souhaitez comme nous vous déconnecter du quotidien et vous reposer, c’est l’endroit idéal pour vous. Enfin, la demi pension proposé a été le meilleur atout du séjour : des repas riches, généreux et délicieux préparé chaque jour par Driss. Un vrai régal !

I didn’t want to leave Suzanna’s place! This is the only way to visit Fez — staying in an authentic riad. The beauty really can’t be quantified in photos or in a review. It was perfect. A couple of points: 1) Another review mentioned stairs being steep but I did not find this to be true. There are stairs, like in any riad, but they weren’t as numerous or as steep as most other places in Morocco, in my opinion. 2) This is not “hotel perfect” — and you wouldn’t want it to be. The home breathes history… things like worn tiles are the quirks that convey its long rich life. It is a privilege to stay in a place like this. 3) If offered, get the breakfast! It was really nice to have that. I’d stay a thousand more times. Don’t hesitate!

We loved our stay at Naima's apartment. Very spacious, clean, and just as described. Naima was very responsive and answered all our questions in a timely manner. The location was great, in a nice area, surrounded by great restaurants, and within walkable distance to mosques and Burj Fes Mall. The only slight inconvenience was that it took about ~3-5 minutes for the shower to get hot water. However, Naima had informed us about that before we arrived so five stars for communication. Overall, we loved our stay, definitely recommend Naima's apartment, and would definitely stay there again.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison. La propreté est impeccable, et tout est disponible pour un confort optimal. L’accueil chaleureux du propriétaire a rendu notre expérience encore plus agréable. Le quartier est très calme, sécurisé et facilement accessible. Merci encore Mr Toufik , nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

très bel appartement un peu à l'écart de la ville mais très rapidement accessible. l'appartement comporte tout ce qu'il faut pour un séjour agréable. c'était parfaitement adapté aux besoins de notre petite famille et khalid est extrêmement agréable et attentif à nos besoins. merci

Nous avons passé un séjour agréable chez Abdelghani, tout était nickel 😊. L’appartement est situé au centre de la ville proche de toutes les commodités. Abdelghani est hyper serviable et toujours à l’écoute. Je vous recommande les yeux fermés. J’hésiterais pas à revenir pour mon prochain séjour à FES.

Franchement l'hôte samir une personne en or je n'est jamais eux un accueil aussi respectueux et serviable et l'endroit magnifique avec son couché soleil le petit village en face la villa bien située en hauteur avec son petit vent agréable avec cette chaleur au maroc , les enfants on kiffer la piscine et les bébés chats qui ci trouvé j'ai passé 1 mois que j'ai pas vu passé tellement j'étais bien et ce magnifique week-end au village avec la représentation des cavaliers de l'ancien temps a cheval et leurs fusil c'était quelque choses je mis attendait pas de voir sa ici des 100 ene de cheveux ci ces pas plus le spectacle était tout ce que j'aime du maroc et de son histoire moi je recommande a 100% et abusé pas de la gentillesse des gens car l'hôte ne veux que votre bien donc respecter car j'ai connus des rbnb ou tout et factures et samir et pas a des vaisselle près et chaque problème a sa solution voilà sa mentalité a bientôt inchallah Mr samir et merci pour tout .

Great place for us, on our way to the inner backlands of Morocco. Lots of clean rooms, with their own bathroom. Some accessed via the outside, but fine in this climate. Picked up friend from the airport which is closeby. No problems with busy city's, so was a good place to stay. Enjoyed it.

Que dire de la ferme de Mohamed. Je chercher un expérience à la ferme, et j’ai pas été déçu ! Petit pincement au cœur d’avoir quitter les lieux et ses chevaux qui sont très sociable. Je m’en suit bien occupé comme si c’était les miens. En ce qui concerne la maison , elle est très bien entretenu , très propres , calme , ça fait du bien. Je reviendrais sans hésiter !
