Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
A compact self contained cottage on a working beef cattle farm in scenic Kangaroo Valley. From the outside it really is a tin shed but inside it is magic. Fully renovated with king size bed, wood fire, air-con, heated bathroom, spa bath, kitchenette, good wi-fi, TV, DVDs and player. Suitable for couples.

The space
Renovations have retained the unique and quirky features of the original building which was a grain store for the milking cows.
Suitable for couples. "The Tin Shed" has one bedroom, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette and separate living room. TV and DVD, and a selection of DVDs. Wi-fi internet. A wood-fire, ceiling fan in living room and reverse cycle air-con. Modern bathroom with underfloor heating and 10 jet spa bath. A king size bed with Tempur memory foam mattress and 100% cotton sheets. The bed can be separated into 2 single beds on request.
Kitchenette has mini fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, benchtop hotplate and pans and frying pans, toastie maker and French press for coffee. Note: no stove or washing machine.

Sealed driveway with easy access, and parking right next to your cottage.

Guest access
Self contained cottage. Shared driveway with another farmstay house which is approximately 75m away. There is one other guest cottage on the farm, it is back to back, separated by a garden, approximately 15m away with separate drive.
Guests are permitted to walk around the 31 ha farm, except where is would intrude on the privacy of the owners and other guests. There is a map in the cottage.

Other things to note
This is a genuine working farm using regenerative farming practices. Animals are not pets and are not hand fed.
The cattle rotate through the paddocks and may not be close to the cottages.
One night bookings accepted during the week or last minute only.
Long weekends minimum 3 nights.
Tea, coffee, UHT milk and some kitchen basic i.e. sugar, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, tomato sauce are in cottage
Some mobile carriers may have issues with reception on the farm and in the valley generally. Wifi is fixed wireless NBN.
