Rhele's Roost is what dreams of Dunes, Beach and Lake Michigan dreams are made of. Our gravel road though the woods opens up into an oasis of quiet neighbors, sounds of the surf, rustling trees, friendly waves and tranquility.

With all the family-friendly attractions, nearby wineries, golf courses, and on-site access to Lake Michigan, our quaint vacation home is a fabulous find.

The front of the house is charmingly simple and tucked away, but once you step into the backyard, you'll find yourself immersed in a breathtaking oasis of beauty and tranquility.

PARKING:
Driveway (3 vehicles) Limited parking on the front lawn. No parking on adjoining properties. There is a park and ride at highway 31 and W Polk Road.

Oceana County offers 6 golf courses within 30 minutes, swimming, kayaking, wine vineyards, Silver Lake Dunes and many other family activities.

Off season activities are limited. Please look before you book.

Enjoy golfing, swimming, kayaking, wineries, and the Silver Lake Sand Dunes ORV Park. There are many family-friendly activities, but off-season options are limited. Please check availability before booking.

Other things to note
Cell service is weak, but we do have Wi-Fi for Wi-Fi calling and a T-Mobile Cell Spot for roaming service.

We are close to Lake Michigan but not directly on it. Our cottage is just 500 steps (1630 ft.) from Lake Michigan access, and we also offer backyard hiking to Silver Lake Dunes.

We’re open year-round! In winter, we recommend an AWD or 4x4 vehicle to navigate the neighborhood.

Silver Lake Sand Dunes ORV Park is open from April 1st to October 31st.

Our water comes from the Lake Michigan aquifer and is refreshing, clean, and drinkable—feel free to take some home with you!

Oceana County offers a variety of activities, including golfing, swimming, kayaking, wineries, and the ORV Park.

Please note that off-season activities are limited, so check before booking.

The glamping tent is available for reservations of eight or for $70 a night.

NEIGHBORHOOD: The neighborhood quiet and secluded and our neighbors are quiet and friendly. The house is set back from the main road and our trees provide added privacy. The Back yard has hiking access to Silver Lake Dunes State Park.

The beach itself is beautiful and clean. The sunsets are always breathtaking.
Sunrise over the dunes is also a must see.

Cobmoosa Cottage is modern contemporary, while Rheli's Roost is vintage nostalgic. We think you'll love both locations for their uniqueness and differences.
