The space
【Jo·Takasegawa】Located in Kamisannomiyacho,Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto,JAPAN. It is a century-old machiya with a structure of "1 house +1 courtyard". On the first floor, there is one room (2 people). On the second floor,there is two bedrooms (7 people). Adjacent to the famous river in Kyoto-- Kamo River. It only takes 4mins to walk to【Shichijo station】on Keihan Electric Railway. During your stay, you can carry the free pocket WiFi we have prepared for you, Visit the “Shosei-en Garden”;“ Higashi Honganji”;“ Sanjusangendo Temple”;“ Kamo River”;” Kyoto Tower”;“ Kyoto Aquarium”……with your family or friends. We sincerely hope to bring you a high quality and pleasant trip to Kyoto!
The first floor is the living room with a tatatami area(sliding door, isolated from living room). You can see the atrium from the living room. There is a Japanese tea room attached to the atrium, You can enjoy the courtyard while tasting tea. The first floor is also equipped with a shower room and toilet.
There are two bedrooms on the second floor. The big bedroom has a double bed and a tatami. There are separate bathtubs and bathrooms. There is a double bed in the small bedroom. It also has a separate shower room and bathroom.
After a day's visit to Kyoto, you can relax in the living room， the open kitchen is equipped with cutlery and cooking utensils. After tasting the delicious food in Kyoto, you can also buy some fresh food with your family and friends, cook the meal yourself and enjoy it while you rest.
All the equipment in the room will be cleaned and sterilized before you check in. Please rest assured. Whether you eat in the room or rest, you will feel comfortable and convenient at home.
The bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand sanitizer, clean towel and bath towel which I carefully selected for you.
The warm and comfortable atmosphere will eliminate your travel fatigue for a day. You can take a comfortable bath and enjoy a good night.
I will provide you with pocket WiFi, which you can take with you during your travels. It is convenient for you to search the map, and also eliminates the trouble of your own leasing.
No matter what your purpose is to enjoy food, shopping, entertainment or leisure, enjoy fashionable. I believe that my house can provide you with the best rest place for your perfect journey.

1. The whole house will belong to you, and you will not share it with any other guests, including kitchen and toilet.
2. All the electrical appliances in the room are equipped with instructions. If you have any problems in using them, you can contact me at any time.
Other things to note
No smoking in the room and in the courtyard;
Please smoke in public areas;
It is forbidden to hold a party;
It is strictly forbidden to engage in illegal activities;
Pets are not allowed.
Please keep quiet after 10 pm;
It is not possible to stay outside the reserved accommodation;
Please turn off the air conditioner and lights when leaving the room;

Machiya offers toothpaste and toothbrushes,no need to bring their own, please note that the slippers are not disposable;
Please strictly observe the check-in and check-out time and leave the room before the check-out time;
Please do not throw anything other than toilet paper in the toilet (women's physiological products must be thrown into the trash can).
Japan is a coastal country with a relatively humid climate and a lot of precipitation. It is recommended that you carry rain gear with you.
