The space
My Machiya is located in Mibubanba in Nakakyo, Kyoto, Japan. It takes only 6 minutes to walk to San'in Main Line [Nijo] Station and 8 minutes to Hankyu Kyoto Line [Omiya] Station. It is very convenient to take a bus within Kyoto city. The nearest bus stop is just 3 minutes away. The living facilities around the town of Noba are very convenient. Yakiniku restaurants, Japanese cuisine, and restaurants such as convenience stores and supermarkets are within walking distance. It is close to the famous attractions of Kyoto, such as Shogi-ji Temple, Sanjo Omiya Park, "Nishiki Market", "Nijo Castle", "Honnoji Temple", etc.
My machiya is almost 100 years old. I specially invited a famous Japanese designer to renovate it. While inheriting Japanese culture, it also embodies the characteristics of contemporary design.

1. The whole house will belong to you, and you will not share it with any other guests, including kitchen and toilet.
